I loved everything about my five-day stay at this resort with my husband and brother. The entire staff was friendly and courteous at all times and the food was delicious. I would like to especially shout out Osiris, Alejandro, and Leo. These three young men made my vacation GREAT. I definitely recommended this resort if you are looking for relaxation and superb service throughout your stay.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Definitely our favorite resort thus far. Our butler, Rafael was amazing. To the bartender in the cigar lounge, Keilyn mad the best drinks, Juan in the buffet always greeted us and went out of his way to accommodate us So many others I want to mention but I don't remember their names. Buffet is good, beach is lovely, drinks are nice, resort is excellent. Definitely bringing the rest of my family next year.

This was by far the best all inclusive hotel I've even been to. The food was great and the service was personalized and sustained throughout my stay. The mayor d'homme Stalin was very nice and always checking up to see if anything was missing or could be done for my stay to be relaxing.
The quality and cleanliness of the resort is 'next level'. Fantastic beach with great pools.response / report this review -

Hands down an outstanding resort. I've been many places throughout the Caribbean and this is by far one of the best. Personal service, (especially from our butler Ayendi "Boom Boom") the wonderful food, and a gorgeous setting. If you like quiet, laid-back relaxation, look no further, as this is the place for you.

Beautiful resort. Luis was a wonderful Butler who catered to our every need including those we didn't know we needed. Carlos was a great waiter and very attentive to us and all the other guests. Resort and rooms are spectacular and after traveling to all inclusive resorts for 11 years this has been our favorite vacation.

Clean and professional. Always felt safe. Staff was very helpful and never seemed to be doing anything for a tip. The rooms are small and do not offer much. The buffets are good and offer many options. The restaurants are overall good, but some are not worth it. Hibachi and Mediterranean were let downs; the surf and turf was the best. Lots of covered and uncovered seating by the pool and beach. Easy access the bar and food at all times. The golf course was really nice and pretty open. Only downfall is not much to do after dinner. They need a trendy bar or something besides the lobby bar and nightly show.

This was my favorite all inclusive ever! The entertainment staff was super sweet, especially "Sunshine." Thank you to our very sweet butlers Staling and Justo. Our waiters at breakfast helped us out every morning, thank you Ortiz and Carl. I couldn't have felt more pampered. The buffet was delicious, and the grounds were gorgeous. It was a perfect trip and I would LOVE to return!

Completely amazing. Staff is awesome. Food is always available. Open bar in the pool. This is an all-inclusive hotel. Rooms are so comfortable, they have minibars, safes and room service. Right next to the beach with connection between it and the hotel. Offers american breakfast. Several pools and animation staff. Environmentally friendly hotel.

The staff and Star Friends are amazing, Yocairi and Starling are trying to teach me Spanish - which is not an easy job. Thank you for your patience! The service is impeccable. The shows are fantastic and worth staying up. The only bad I can say is that it is hard to stay only a week, and that is why you need to book at least two weeks so you can enjoy the experience of staying at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaria even more. When you come once, you will come back again 🙂. Room 7110.

This was our first trip to the Dominican Republic and our first to an Iberostar resort. The resort in Punta Cana is amazing! It is grandiose and well appointed. The grounds are immaculate and the restaurants and spa are wonderful. While we don’t typically book all inclusive resorts, all Iberostar resorts are all inclusive. Additionally, we had a awesome butler, Staling, who attended to our every need! We also had exceptional service from Julio and the ladies in the spa.
The Dominican Republic is a great place to vacation and I would highly recommend the Iberostar Grand Bavaria!response / report this review -

This resort deserves every last 5 star rating and more. The resort and beach are beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff truly become family. My husband and I have been twice now. The first time was for our honeymoon and we loved it so much that we convinced our family to go back. Sexy Romeo, Skinny Jefry, Jose, and Rafael are amazing butlers. DeeDee and Miguel are the best activity directors and encourage the guests to take part in games. Arie is one of our favorite bartenders. The food is absolutely delicious. The golf course is beautiful. When they say all inclusive, they truly mean it. Drinks are handed to you the second you arrive along with a cool towel. Room service whenever you want it. The butlers surprise you with bubble baths decorated in rose petals and champagne. We cannot say enough good things about this resort. We will never stay anywhere else in the Dominican Republic and we cannot wait to go back many times in the years to come.

I was the for five days and had a wonderful time. The Service here is the absolute best. They serviced my room twice a day and when replaced the liquid I would drink on a daily. The best post of my stay was my butler Rafael. Rafael took care of everything I needed, even those the small things to make me feel welcomed. This resort had something planned every night for the guest to be entertained with. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.

This hotel is excellent! The best service I've ever had, staff is incredibly friendly and always trying to help out.Our Butler "Sexy Romeo" was THE BEST hand downs, being there for us at ANYTIME stocking our room, setting dinner reservations or simply engaging in conversations! Also, food was very good, several choices to select from, so if your picky there are plenty of options definitely coming back!

My fist time, but it was the BEST Only for adults. and you can have fun all the time. 24 hours open bar/all inclusive/night time casino/ nightclub/ AWESOME TIME. Please visit this nature paradise love it.our butler was awesome. And don't forget the ladies that maintain the rooms everyday. They are unique. I adore their decorations. 😍😍😍😘😘😘

My husband and I just had a wonderful week long stay at this resort! The resort is beautiful and even though we went in the middle of June, there weren't that many people there. The pool water is just heavenly and there are plenty of private cabanas to choose from. You may ask for as many towels as you like. The workers only speak Spanish so be prepared for that. The 4 years of Spanish I had in Jr. High and High School got me through it. The beach is nice as well, but the water was not as crystal clear as I was hoping. The restaurants are all very good in my opinion but make sure you call a few weeks ahead and make reservations for each restaurant for each night you will be there. The only restaurants you don't need reservations for are at the buffets. Hope this review helps you.

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The food was really good at all times. Most all the staff was very friendly and went the extra mile. Our butler "Boom-Boom" was amazing and handled everything from complaints to requests quickly and professionally. The beach was nothing short of the best on the strip.

This was my first time at an all inclusive and in this country so I was not sure what to expect. Everything was amazing, beyond amazing! Our butler, Simon, was very attentive. The food was great from the buffets to the specialty restaurants. The grounds were pristine and everything was safe. All of the staff was friendly. The shows were a lot of fun! We had a swim up suite and we loved it though the reviews are mixed. We never saw our neighbors so it felt like a private pool we could hop in 25/7. We literally had 0 issues! Here's some tips I would have liked to have known..
- the buffets are great at lunch, the grill is better. The grill is right by the aqua bar and can make you hamburgers, steak and lobster on demand:
- the show at this hotel is at 10 normally and the neighboring hotel is at 11 so you have time to catch both.
- all of the specialty food places were great but I would vote surf and turf at the top.
- get a massage, you will love it! They massage more than most places in America so be prepared to have a tummy rub too!
- they have inflatable floats, books and sunscreen all at the pool towel place.
- room service can take up to 45 min so plan on waiting.
- the catamaran and snorkel is a great half day trip only 10 min from the hotel.
- the Michael Jackson show is amazing!!!!

My wife and I stayed at this resort for our honeymoon and it surpasses our expectations. As soon as we arrived everyone was so friendly and helped us out immediately. The entertainment staff was amazing. The food was beyond good! Simon our butler was very helpful and always very happy to greet us. Simon set our room up for a romantic night that me and my wife enjoyed! Overall great resort! We will come back to visit again!

There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best resort in DR. We stayed the last week of February. The staff knew our names, where we were from, and how long we were staying the day we got there. The staff works long hard hours and they truly care about your reviews and will flat out tell you to please mention them by name, which they are truly deserving for all the hard work they put in. "Boom Boom" (his nickname that everyone knows him by) was our butler, and I'm not lying when I say we literally tried bribing him to move to the US with us. If he reads this, the deal is still on the table! He was amazing, and truly cared about every detail of our stay. I got the flu 4 days into my stay, and he knew within hours of starting his shift the next day. (I work at a hospital and know I got sick from one of my patients, which unfortunately hit me 7-10 days later while I was on vacation.) But the entire staff was so concerned that I was not feeling well, they tracked me down every 8-12 hours for the remaining 4 days to see if I needed anything, asked how I was feeling, and even offered to pay for my doctor's visit (that would come to the resort) if I needed one. I know I will never stay at another resort with such an amazing staff as this one. Jenny the bartender in the 24 hour bar was another one of my favorite staff. She helped me learn new words in Spanish. And Yoselme (I hope I spelled that right) was one of the most motivating staff there, always asking if we wanted to salsa dance, learn how to shoot a bow and arrow, do karaoke on the boat in the evenings, and was just such an amazing hostess. The only thing I was disappointed in was that we had 9 people in our party, and it was so hard to get reservations for dinner before 9 pm. But if you have a small party, it was no problem to get reservations, and I suggest booking them all the first night. And if you don't like reservations, their buffets are phenomenal. I know we will be back next year!

We went to the Iberostar Grand for our honeymoon, and I can truly say this was the best customer service I've ever received. What a wonderful staff that gave the best experience!!! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was so thoughtful, kind, and extremely accommodating.

Great spot for our Honeymoon! Punta Cana is beautiful and the Iberostar Grand was a gem. The resort itself was one of the most well kept I've ever seen and the staff was beyond friendly. Romeo and Alan were our butlers and they bent over backwards to make sure we had anything we wanted and even helped coordinate getting a ride into Santo Domingo. We also liked the selection of restaurants on the property which let you mix it up from hibachi to seafood during the stay. So go visit, and ask for a Cuba Libre with some top shelf Dominican rum from the lobby bar.
