Wonderful, clean place to stay. Close to subway, Marienplatz, restaurants. Fabulous breakfast. Friendly staff
Pretty good hotel. Had a first floor room directly over the kitchen, so it was loud early and late. No in-room temperature control either, so room was very warm and difficult to sleep (windows open but again, lots of noise). Great location and very friendly staff. Might stay again but not on the first floor.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Munich who wants to be close to the Marienplatz! The location of this hotel was so amazing for all of the sights we wanted to see during our stay in Munich! The room we stayed in doesn't have many frills; while it is very spacious for a European hotel it's not modern or uniquely decorated. We did have a queen size bed, but it was odd that it was comprised of two smaller mattresses. We paid extra for our own bathroom (some rooms have community bathrooms), but also no frills or windows.
The front desk was very friendly and helpful in answering our questions and suggesting restaurants nearby (Yum a few blocks away was amazing). We had breakfast included which was also really nice (best scrambled eggs I have had in a long time). The Eataly across the street is also really nice to have for a drink, dessert or event dinner. There's also a museum feet away from the hotel that is worth going to! I just can't say enough about the location and staff of this hotel!
Situated close to the city centre. Clean well MAINTAINED. 24Hour reception. Excellent breakfast menu catering for all tastes.
We stayed here one night on a long layover in Munich. The location can't be beat, it's right in the heart of the city. The room was clean and modern. The beds were comfortable. We stayed in the room without a bathroom en suite. I am thankful, however that the toilet and shower were on the floor below, because I felt it kept our hall quiet. Although there is only one toilet/shower for women, I only ran into a locked door once during our overnight stay. The breakfast was superb. So many choices and such great quality. It was a delight, except for the noisy Americans who could be heard across the breakfast room. I would certainly stay at the Blauer Bock again, but I'd pay the extra for the en suite bathroom if staying more than one night. On top of all this the staff was super friendly, helping us call to change a dinner reservation and always making sure we had all we
We stayed here the past 4 days and it was lovely. The staff is really nice, the location is excellent and breakfast splendid. Also free wifi as well. Next to the Marienplatz area which is a short 5 minute walk away.
Great staff very friendly, near everything old in Munich.would definitely stay again.
Great place, staff, room. Only negative is if you get the standard room it doesn't have a bathroom attached and you must climb stairs for bathroom. Can be a challenge when drinking all day. Worth the stay for the breakfast though.
Great breakfast and really friendly staff. Only negative is the room did not have a private bathroom but for the price/location you can't beat it
Great location and amazing service! This is a high quality hotel in the best part of town and the price is perfect. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the food in the restaurant is top notch. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to visit Munich.
