Bartenders are very rude ! Especially when you are not German! Btw , owner said their barmen are mostly not german even , so that sounds very typical bad & racism service attitudes then , ‘foreign waiters do not like to serve other foreigners , gay men make troubles on purpose for other gay men!’

Definitely the worst hotel experience in my life, I dont even know where to start. The reception area is full of vulgar photos of half naked men. We were given a top floor room. The design of the rooms is ghastly, the flooring looked worn out and badly installed, and was eerily sticky so you couldn't really walk barefoot. A glass wall separated the toilet - this glass wall was wallpapered in a translucent bright red colour (rest of the room was wood themed). The sink glowed bright green when you switched on the lights. I do not understand who designed this room. One of the towels had hair on it. There was someones dirty underwear left over behind the towel hanger in the toilet. The worst part: the room was so extremely hot that it felt like a sauna. The air conditioning simply blew more hot air into the room, regardless of temperature selection. If you opened the awkward top floor windows, the room would very gradually cool down (over 3-4 hours), however it is impossible to sleep as there is a busy bar in the same hotel downstairs and its extremely loud from the road. There were no curtains in the room. If you wanted any sort of privacy, you had to close the windows and then use steel external blinds that come down and cover the window from the outside - back to the problem of heat - you basically had to choose between an overnight sauna experience in your room for the benefit of some quiet and privacy, or lose the quiet and privacy and try to cool down the room to a temperature suitable for humans. We tried to ask for a different room - we were told at reception that it was the same temperature issues in all the rooms, AC was not functional and the only alternative room available was a low level smoking room. We were told to just bear the heat and the room would "slowly cool down" as the outside temperature dropped at night. We tried to sleep with the windows open at 10pm - the room remained extremely hot and extremely noisy, we were not able to fall asleep until 3am when the noise started to die down and the room slowly cool down. We were up a few hours later when the sun came up as again - there were no curtains. The pillows provides no neck support whatsoever and your head simply goes right through it. An unbelievably horrible experience for 150 euros per night - I genuinely believe I would have been more comfortable on a bench on the side of the road.

Small but clean room. Staff was friendly and the hotel had a nice atmosphere. Only a few minutes away from Marienplatz by foot.

Was only in Munich for one night and a friend suggested it and was right. I had a single room and for the price it was the right size, clean, well appointed and came with complimentary beer and breakfast the following morning. Also it didn't hurt to be a few floors above the sauna, which was a lot of fun. 😛

Not a bad spot for a quiet meal. Rooftop bar for when the weather gets warmer.

Das Essen ist klasse, die Menschen, die nähe zur Innenstadt, die Sauna und ihr Personal ist perfekt. Immer wieder gerne.

The food was good and decent but nothing particularly amazing - pretty normal to Munich's standards if a bit more pricy. It didn't live up to the reputation so many other's give it. I'd come again certainly but wouldn't go out of my way.

We've had dinner here a handful of times. The food is excellent at a good price! Recently, I had the quinoa with pumpkin, cabbage and parmesan. Very tasty. My partner had a salad with grilled goat cheese and rosemary honey. I tried it and if I wasn't already full, I would of ordered it. We will continue to return when we visit Munich again!
