The hotel is ok, but for this price I expected something better. The room was small, very elegant, however not very practically designed (for example the desk was super small, I was hardly able to work on my laptop; also there was only very little place for cosmetics in the bathroom).
The breakfast was beautiful - that's really the best word I can find to describe it. It wasn't tasteful, it was beautiful. As a person who likes European breakfast with scrambled eggs and rolls I was disappointed. Yes, I was asked by the waitress whether I wanted to order eggs, but I didn't have time for that and no eggs were put on the table, so I ended up eating carbs instead of proteins. Otherwise the selection was also very poor unless you like sushi.
Basically, it should be clear to you that when booking a room at this hotel you're paying for the location and elegance not for a comfy room and good food.response / report this review -

Amazing central location in the heart of Munich Altstadt. Rooms are beautifully decorated with handcrafted furniture. Spacious rooms, lovely atmosphere.

My lovely "standard" hotel in Munich. Everything is fantastic and I always feel like home. One things is to mention - the acoustic insulation of the room is so perfectly done that you will hear no noise within the room - unbelievable!

We were sent away after we had been already seated because of our dog. The waiter who seated us was clearly seeing the dog and we had explicitly asked on reservation by phone if dogs are OK. Then another waitress brought our beverages, saw the dog and asked us to leave. If you disallow dogs make it clear beforehand!

Amazing hotel! Very hip and simple and right next to the main city square! As soon as you walk-in you are greeted with kindness and attentiveness. When you get to your room, you'll enjoy the view right away. There is complimentary water which is great!
