We came to this Hotel in central Munich fot 4 days . it was great and very clean and spacious room with a very good breakfast and especially the staff both at the reception desk like Wolfgang Katerina Kielan and at the breakfast room Emina . very central and would recommend it being 8 minutes away from Marienplatz and other central places of interest . thanks to everyone for the pleasant stay in Munich and would come again .

We loved Nuremberg, and if you're going to stay there, Hotel Isartor is an excellent choice! As usual throughout our time in Germany, the hotel staff was friendly. The hotel is very safe, as you have to turn in your keys when you step out, and they buzz you in when you return. The reception is open 24 hours, and is on the first floor (which in Europe means the first floor above ground level, a.k.a. the second floor in the U.S.). There is a lift so you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs. The rooms are spacious enough, with good water pressure in the shower. The included breakfast was above par, as it included a hot dish (scrambled eggs) as well as the usual European continental breakfast fare. The location was excellent, as we found many sights and great restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Rooms are nice. Can be a bit noisey with the trams being outside. Breakfast is rather simple, but still nice.

Located in the heart of Munich this hotel is very nice. The staff is super nice and very helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The breakfast lacked hot food but that's a very small issue. Defiently would visit again.

The Hotel Isartor is adecently priced property located within easy walking distance of public transportation. It is simple to reach by train from the airport, the central train station and Marienplatz.
The staff were very friendly and provided excellent assistance.
The hotel is clean, with the rooms being of a decent size. There are some stairs that you have to climb to reach the elevator. There is some street noise from trams and cars, so earplugs are in order if you want to sleep with the window open. There is no air conditioning.
The breakfast buffet was well stocked, with coffee and tea available to order.

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff, amenities could be better, but the price is great.

Located in the heart of Munich, the hotel Isartor is a short walk to Marienplatz or the river. The selection of nearby restaurants seems good. This does mean there is some noise from the night life which travellers who go to bed early will have to contend with.

There is no air conditioning making the rooms unappealing for guests visiting in the hot summer months. In the summer you have to choose between leaving the window open to cool down at night, or keeping it closed to have less noise from the street below.

The beds are two twin mattresses with separate sheets a blankets for each side which is odd to American traveller used to a typical queen/king setup with one large blanket.

Overall I think it is an okay option for the budget traveller, but the heat, noise, and awkward bed setup made for a less appealing stay.

Basic rooms. Clean bathroom. Breakfast terrible. No hot food. Only Cereal and yoghurt. No hot drinks. Had to go elsewhere. Only 10 min walk from Marienplatz so very central. Only English channel is Chinese tv (?!) Bedding not very comfy.
