Very friendly hotel which has improved since our last visit some years ago. A quick check in for us and our friends and in our rooms within 10 minutes. Rooms were clean, up- to -date and a nice view over the city centre. Hotel was busy as it has the largest conference centre in southern Germany but the staff coped and the standard of service was unaffected. Breakfast included everything you could want and found it best to wait until 8.30 to avoid the rush. Ate in the house restaurant had rump steak which was perfectly cooked having taken the waiters advice. Munich Xmas market was wonderful, church bells constantly ringing, lights everywhere, very busy with a wide choice of Christmas gifts. If you are looking to visit Munich any time of the year this is the hotel for you. Direct train link from the airport, stops almost under the hotel, walk to city centre about 15 min's or the train 4 min's. Good service with staff that care, clean rooms, perfect breakfast, could not ask for more hence 5 star rating.

Lovely clean hotel. Comfy beds and maid service good. Friendly staff. Breakfast really nice with a huge selection and choice. 4 stars only as this hotel does not open the restaurant in the evenings. Or should I say they didn't when we were there. Snack food in the bar was only available during our stay in early December. If not for this I would have given the hotel a 5 star rating.

English-speaking staff. Friendly and helpful. Breakfast was phenomenal. If I ever return to Munich, I'd definitely stay here again.

The location is great; close to tons of restaurants and just a couple stops away from the center of town. Also the fact that if the weather isn’t nice you don’t have to go outside from the train is awesome. The rooms are nicely appointed and he breakfast is pretty good. The lobby looks nice since the remodel and there is a a lot more action at the hotel bar now. The one major issue I have is that the temperature control valves in every shower does not work so you are either getting burned or too cold. I’ve stayed here half a dozen times because it is a preferred hotel from my work and have yet to get a good shower.

Great hotel. Lobby and bar area is superb--it was hopping and bustling the week before Octoberfest. Rooms are super nice, though my bed mattress was probably close to retirement. Shower is a handheld set up, and I wish the water pressure was stronger. Otherwise, it was all good.

We stayed here one night while traveling, the stuff at the reception and throughout the hotel is very friendly, the rooms are a bit small (typical of Europe) and the beds are small but comfortable . The room was very clean and has everything you need, the price was also great for this location.the hotel was renovated couple of years ago and is very modern, will definitely recommend and come back if we're in the area.

In general Holiday Inn is quite nice. Very nice rooms and service. A lot of restaurants around, metro stations are quite close as well, so there was no issue with getting around the city. Room view in fact is not alluring, but it's not that bad as well. Loved the lobby. It feels a little bit like Ikea display but is very nice and comfortable. On the other side Executive Room WiFi connection is just awful. Very slow and practically no upload speed, so if you want to upload some documents, you will need to look for another source of internet connection, maybe in lobby when there are several machines set up.

Great hotel. It's about a five minute walk from one of the tram stops, the instructions to get there were very clear and accurate. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. The pool and sauna were very clean and great. The restaurant was good but expensive. Amenities were like that of any other Holiday Inn.

We are enjoying our short stay at the Holiday Inn Munich City Centre. The hotel is in a great location close to local restaurants, shops and only a few minutes walk to a transit station. Our room was quaint and very clean. The staff have been very friendly and knowledgeable.

Good location to city. Great in that the train stop is under the hotel-you don't need to walk outside to catch it. Rooms were fine, but I didn't have a good view (looked out into a lower portion of the hotel roof), nor did the couple that I traveled with. The lobby / lounge downstairs is very nice and serves good food until late in the night. The staff at the counter could be better-didn't seem to know much about the trains and local attractions/how to get to them. But in spite of that, I would definitely stay there again.
