Hard to believe how quickly the resort recovered after Hurricane Irma but everything back to near normal. Staff were wonderful!

Visited this hotel during a Xmas/New Year period.
Very nice hotel for adults only like a boutique place, recommend.
There are still some things left to improve after a past year storm though.. And black flies were a bit boring if you do not use a repellent or a vinegar.. :) No agency notified about this in advance..
All stuff is a nice and a friendly open people. I would especially mention a waiter Fernando and a cooks: Alexandro and Aleksandro - they are the best!!! Though a regular food may seem poor - you may order "a la carte" or something special that will definitely exceed your expectations.
It was just AWESOME "Belissimo" tasty and beautiful!!!
If you need any fishing trip -> just avoid agency advertisement -> contact locals. It will be cheaper and longer and awesome again.
Place is very private, quiet and comfortable for adults as no children there and a resort is far from other hotels, has 12 km of a wonderful beach to walk and enjoy.. :)response / report this review -

Amazing staff and resort. Great rooms, pools, beaches. The staff really goes out of their way to make your stay fabulous. Some of the best resort food in Cuba. ..always love the lobster! 3 beaches to choose from. ..all very clean with no seaweed and great snorkeling. Great nightly entertainment. Love the Option of going to the other melia resorts to have a change of pace if you want.

We where disappointed. Although the room is big and comfortable, the food is not good - we expected much more from an all inclusive resort. After getting very sick, me and my husband felt safe to eat only pizza the hole trip. The beaches are truly beautiful, but full of seaweeds.

We spent our honeymoon here, it was a perfect choice!! Top quality, helpful and friendly staff, beautiful private beaches and hotel. This is luxury by all means, cost extra but worth the effort. Obs. don't be picky with food, they provide with the best they can get in Cuba but it's not as easy as it sound.

We spent our honeymoon here and I have to say it was perfection!! We were well taken care of by our concierge and the bartenders by the pool bar (Lester & Ornesto)!! The staff was so considerate and helpful! We also purchased trips and travelled outside the resort, and everything was amazing!

My boyfriend and I stayed from January 6th-17th 2017. First of all I am not trashing the hotel by any means we just didnt find it our style. For 9 of the 11 days we were there there was a huge storm and also high winds (obviously not the resorts fault) We found the room great, it was very comfortable.

The massage was magnificent. Relaxing. Hit all the right muscles. Long enough that I started to snore, very relaxing. Can't wait to go back and book two this time.
