It's a good place. Open bar and Buffet. The drinks are not that good, and the food firm the menu on the cafeteria is not always available. Good pool and wonderful beach.

We had a pleasent vacation in first two weeks of February. Thank you frendly and hard working people ( everyone was nice and really helpful from room service, animation team all of them are just amazing, kid's club team, pool bar,towels service, coffee bar-they are great, buffet- very professional, plenty of food. Thank you awesome Brisas del Caribe team, looking forward to see you all soon.

We will definitely go back!

There are great and not so great things about this resort.
First, as many have said, the staff are mostly quite wonderful. So many of them go out if their way for you, especially if you are friendly towards them.
Second, don't allow them to give you a first floor room. The rooms smell damp and musty.
Third, the food is pretty good and the variety is decent. I was expecting much worse as I had heard many complaints about the food in Cuba.
Fourth, while the bed did not seem to be high quality, especially based on hotels you would find in the US or Canada, I slept well and was comfortable.
Fifth, be friendly and patient with the staff. It goes a long way to help them want to help you. Bring guys for them and tip them as the salary they make is not high.
Sixth, they will run out of things. Expect it and move on. Whining and complaining will only take away from your own enjoyment. Relax and let things go.
These points could apply to any resort in Cuba.

I just check out from the hotel today, 03/21/2018. It was my first time.. I really spent some wonderful days here. In general the hotel offers great service, the rooms are ok, at least for me. The buffet was very varied, abundant and clean. I'm just going to call attention to the service at the buffet, yes it's slow, however there were many people staying these days a lot. The weather and the beach were spectacular. I’ve got some pictures so you can see for your selves. I’m coming back very soon. I loved it.

They say this is a four-star resort, but personally- I think this should be claimed as a two-star resort. The staff are unfriendly and rude, and the place is unclean. The towels we received everyday often had brown stains on them, and the plates at the buffet were often unclean. Along with this, many of the mugs at the coffee bar still had a residue from the last person who used it. The safe in our room was broken, and they did not fix it the whole time we were there. Aside from this, the room was infested with black mold. The beach was amazing, and there was great entertainment in the evening (dance shows, aqua ballet). If you want to spend the whole day in the beach, then perhaps this is the place for you.. but if you want to experience Cuban culture and thoroughly enjoy your vacation- consider going elsewhere.

Like they say, "you go to Cuba for the beaches, not the food or accommodations." The beach and water was beautiful but the hotel and resort grounds definitely need great improvement. We went with a group of 51 of us and 30 of us got sick. Hotel is 22 years old and you can tell. They have done anything to upkeep and or up grade anything since then. Hotels room phones, AC units and running water work periodically. One day they have beach towels available (at a $15 cost) and the next day they don't have any. Ice at the bars one day then the next day they don't have ice. Grounds are maintained but barely. Lots of roof tiles off building, doors loose or off hinges, very dirty place. The smell you got in some of the areas of the hotel is disgusting. Some of the hotel rooms the staff use to pile old cardboard and used laundry. We went to the disco there on the Wednesday night and 5 mins after opening the bathroom flooded and couldn't be use. They never did show up that night and fix it so most people just went to the bathroom outside. They say it has a 4-star rating.I would give it a 2 star. Could be a very nice place but they need to fix up the property. With all the new hotels being built in the area, I don't think this place will be around much longer. Thanks

Cleaning staff was super friendly rooms were clean as you can expect in Cuba buffet was pretty bad but the cafeteria served food 24 hours and had pretty good burgers and pizza.

This place is great to be at, but I mostly suggest that maybe you could offer some hot water in the shower and also clean the bathrooms and make it nice and clean. The bed was horrible, the one I slept on was actually broken, I got hurt from the bed. There is also insects crawling everywhere. I’m not impressed seeing this. Also you need to offer some hot water. :(😡😤😕☹️😔😣😖

This hotel is really good according to a country. Hotel is separatee into two parts, is for cozy and calm stay, another part is for those who like loud music during a day time and mostly with a ocean view.

Loved the resort. The pool is great, and the employees are very nice and talented. The buffet has sum what variety of food, there is also limited 110 volt plugs.

Last year some friends and I stayed here. I found the staff friendly and attentive. The hotel itself was older but comfortable and enjoyable The beach was very nice and right up close passed the pool. Housekeeping kept our room very clean. I enjoyed the food, and found the kitchen staff more than willing to help if I needed something. There is an excellent coffee bar where we spent a lot of time playing cards in the evening. I recommend this place to anyone who asks me.

Very friendly and professional staff.
The hotel is right at the beachline.
There is a beautiful garden.
Excellent lobby, bars, restaurants, pools, gym and entertainment. Everything needed for a good vacation.
The overall atmosphere is festive and, at the same time, relaxed.

I have traveled to more than 30 countries in 4 different continents but this was my worst overly-paid experience. I stayed there for 3 nights. Initially we stayed in a room that didn't have any hot water and the floors had stains, the bath was rusty, and the lizards/bugs were moving freely in the room. We asked several times for hot water and they were very slow in processing our requests. Finally they sent us their mechanic who was not able to communicate with us and he believed that 30 degree water is hot enough! It turned out they knew about this problem for the whole block for the whole time but still they wanted to make money out of the people who were not brave enough to complain. Eventually I got so furious and had to ask them to change our room or pay us back our money. Basically don't expect a decent customer service as this is not defined for them. The buffet restaurant lacked any hygiene as the dishes were poorly washed and the food was sometimes tasteless. The outdoor pool and the beach was really nice and the complex is pretty and well kept. Overall we had more bad than good experience which ruined our stay there.

3rd world experience.

I'm a well travelled person having been to all of the world's continents bar Antarctica.

This is THE worst hotel I've ever seen. Where to start?

Hygiene. Or lack thereof. The rooms are absolutely filthy. Hairs from previous guests are strewn across the bathrooms. The fridge is full of dirt and only food bits. The bedsheets smell of dirty armpit and there is gum stuck to many parts of the furniture. You'll not want to spend anytime in your room.

Food

The all inclusive buffet is more of an apocalyptic experience. The foods that are meant to be warm can be kind of cold and the cold food kind of warm. I didn't dare to toUchida the seafood.

Don't waste your time here. Cuba is an amazing country. Get away from this ultra touristic enclave and see the towns and villages. The locals offering accommodation offer much better food and hospitality. Also much better hygiene.
