Beautiful location but horribly run place. Poorly maintained. Terrible food. No air conditioning. Lots of bugs and holes in the room screens.

Amazing hotel - great service, beautiful hotel, pool and hot tub, and delicious food at the restaurant. Do the sustainable farm tour - the guide is super knowledgeable and it's very interesting.

We have been to the lodge twice and it's absolutely wonderful. Great quality food and options for meals. The whole place is very clean, friendly staff, tours that are so educational and informative. The atmosphere is so relaxing and peaceful. An amazing place to get away too.

I'd give it more than five stars if I could! The stay here was the best one I had in Costa Rica!
We had two nights reserved, but when we got there we only had one night reserved, which was definitely my mistake. They worked really hard to accommodate us and found a room for us the second night. They offer a free tour of the farm to guests. It was so informative and enjoyable. The food was fabulous. Every single employee was welcoming and talkative.

This is a perfect ecotourism destination!

Even though my family and I was visiting La Fortuna, the 45 minute drive from this lodge was well worth it. This place is a must stay if you are anywhere in the vicinity!
