Very comfortable beds! No A/C but the rooms have venting windows or fans and is comfortable, at least my experience in April. No TVs in the room. Spotty cell service but dependable wifi; cell service is fine once u get down the hill back to the city. Great views! Free coffee and tea whenever you want. The self guided trail is very pretty, and the fish pond is cute. They have a juice bar, jacuzzi, yoga studio, and gift shop. The concierge is very helpful. Food is good at the restaurant.

Worst hotel in Costa Rica bed bugs!!!

They introduce themselves as luxury hotel one thing there not is luxury,very dirty rooms bed sheets with blood stain on them,smelly rooms and worst of all bed bugs ,very unpleasant staff we couldn’t think about spending our second night in the hotel and left one day earlier,go elsewhere if you have the option,there are much nicer hotels in Costa Rica.

Do not waste your money. Rooms were not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination. Dirty linens, rooms needed fresh paint and stains on furniture. Stayed in the Peninsula suite the first night and sink didn’t drain properly. Stay in the Nicoya suite the second night. It has pretty views, but not worth the money if you intend on sleeping at all. Due to poor construction, the wind made so much noise throughout the room that the sound could not even be drowned out with headphones. You’re better off saving the cash and staying elsewhere.

A touch of a walk to town (@2km) is the only thing I could find ro fault this place. Staff? Outstanding. Facilities? Exceptional though the beers from on-site brewery only rate a "quite nice". Food is organic and grown on facility so if tou want a pizza go to town. If you want deliciousness eat here! Rooms are very nice and the views are to die for. On a scale of 1-10, this place easily comes in at an 8.8 - 9.1.

Beautiful hotel and the staff and management are top notch. Breakfast is included with your reservation and is outstanding. It's nice to know that they locally source everything from meats, coffee and herbs. The grounds are gorgeous and beautiful for an evening walk. Everything you need is here. The management makes sure your every need is taken care of. Thank you!

Super cute wood house. Very nice stuff and good food. They promote green living. Everything is grow in their own farm. The back yard is a great place for bird watching. I really like this place.

Loved our stay here. The room we stayed in was clad in wooden panels with wide windows looking out all the way to the Gulf and a jacuzzi ont eh balcony! The restaurant is actually some of the nicer food you'll find in Monteverde and they brew their own beer which is amazing! For the non-beer drinkers their cocktails are amazing and do a happy hour too which, given that it rains quite a bit here, makes for a great way to while away some time in the evening.

Beautiful location, grounds and facilities.
It has a really authentic jungle lodge feel about it, with traditional, dark wood interiors and carefully maintained gardens.
There's a nice walking trail which circles around the back of the hotel, where we spotted capuchin monkeys and a cotie.
The service level from staff is very high and we were made to feel very welcomed.
The restaurant has stunning views over the cloud forest and the with the complimentary coffee you could just sit there for hours!
Tip: try the Cerro Amigos trail for something a little more strenuous. The trail itself is nothing special, just a steep climbing road, but the views across the cloud forests from the peak are wonderful.

Excellent service. Each of the staff consistently went out of the way to honor any of requests. Very helpful in helping us set up outside activities including tours through the cloud forest, zip lining and even transportation to our next destination. Restaurant food and service also excellent.

This hillside luxury hotel in the heart of Monteverde not only brews some of the most flavorful and technically sound beer in Costa Rica, they have a legitimately talented kitchen as well, and they have an absolutely gorgeous view south and west down to the Nicoya peninsula and the Pacific Ocean. The restaurant offers tables on the outdoor patio overlooking the hillside garden area which seems to be constantly buzzing with exotic birds. The whole package is here, superb beer, genuinely nice service, and cuisine that shows attention to detail. If we could have booked rooms (all full) we would have stayed here for the entirety of our time in Monteverde.

Went here for a weeks stay for my honeymoon. The service is incredibly friendly and organized. They even did our entire itinerary from morning to night. We stayed in two different rooms and both were incredible cozy, romantic and spacious. The food also was very tasty, fresh and healthy and presented to you very nicely. I even loved their shampoo and purchased it to take home with me. My husband and I would love to go back and recommend them with out hesitation.

The restaurant is fabulous. They have a garden in the back of their hotel, so the herbs and produce are exceptionally fresh. My favorite dish is the spinach ravioli. Luis Carlos makes fantastic cocktails and always offers a friendly smile. I love this place!
