The hotel is, and looks/feels pretty old. Has seen some refurbishment but still doesn't seem slick. My room was was the same. Shower head on the floor, and door lock (additional one beyond the magnetic lock) broken. Breakfast was too expensive. Staff was courteous but not too warm. Overall, a mediocre experience, not par for the price we paid, or what was expected from the crowne plaza brand.

Not bad hotel, with rooms spacious enough. Good service. The only complaint is that the room was on the main road so I got a bit of noise from traffic and train, and the duvet is quite heavy, so, either you need to sleep with the A/C on, or not use it at all and then maybe get a bit too cold to be comfortable.
The hotel rooms look better than the exterior of the building suggests.

Very nice hotel, the included wellness is top notch! The only downside and why I haven't given 5 stars is that the overall view is not up to date with the pictures, the shower was missing its rubber protection and made water go everywhere and there were some black spots in the ceiling of the bad/shower. Aside from that, really nice hotel and the city is reachable by tram or even on foot.

Rooms we got were very small. The bathroom was also very tiny. It opened directly into our beds. The doors didn't shut completely and it didn't feel good sleeping near the bathrooms. Other amenities like the TV updating about the weather and room service were good.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. However they advertise as a downtown hotel but to get to the heart of downtown you have to talk a tram with 8 stops. Great place to stay if you aren't looking for heart of downtown.

Very friendly environment, great breakfast. We stayed for one night, and it was super easy to go to city centre. There is a big supermarket just 1 min away. There are gyms, jacuzzi, and swimming pool, although we didn't use. We would definitely come back again.

Hotel is great and staff is friendly. Definitely a place to go. Minor thing is that every opportunity they see to make extra money (increase hotel price, parking, fitness, tips, etc.) they will try it.

The hotel is just a short walk from a nearby supermarket and from the tram station. Offers complimentary water, sleeping aid kit, coffee & tea sachets with Kettle. Cleanliness is maintained and staff is friendly. They also have a lovely breakfast buffet spread with live counters. Restaurants are available.

Very good hotel to stay. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is super. Beds and bath are very comfortable. They have robes and slippers too. A beautiful indoor heated pool. A lobby bar with a garden patio. Nearby is a big Migros super market, a tram station and lovely eating places. Lots of classy tourists checking in.

Very helpful staff in a nice hotel that's located about a 20 minute walk from the river and the city center. The Swiss chocolates were a nice touch and the room has everything needed for a short stay.

Fine Swiss chocolate (provided in suites), free working Ethernet and wifi, helpful staff, shower and tub, recently refreshed, good price, convenient to trams. I always stay here when visiting Zürich.

Worst 4-star hotel I've ever been to. Very small rooms with very old carpets smelling like very chemical deodorant. Walls seem to be nearly yellow and not white. You hear all other guests. Air conditioner works very loud, so that you have an opportunity to sleep without it but in a very hot room or not to sleep in a cooled room. Very disappointing overall experience.

“Friendly & welcoming”
When we arrived at the hotel we were told the room wasn't ready for a couple of hours so we sat in the lobby researching sightseeing tours, I approached hotel reception and asked some questions and they were extremely helpful with advice and recommendations, everyone was so polite. The room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was really good, the hotel was fully booked at the time but all the staff were in total control, there was no stress as I've witnessed in other hotels, these people are very professional, polite, courteous and helpful. They obviously like working there. Thoroughly recommend this hotel, I will go back.
