Definitely worth dropping in to checkout the store's fantastic variety of army/outdoor equipment. Staff were very friendly and we will be back!
My girlfriend and I stopped by to pickup some things for our Halloween costume and were blown away with everything there!
Affordable prices on their used items and they also carry the brand-name premium equipment too.response / report this review -

A vast selection of stuff but stuff is marked up a decent amount. A nice little gem of uptown.
The owner is a little cold, I didn't really get a warm feeling from him but the products are nice.
Bought a WWII Finnish mess kit (I think finnish) and it has been my main bushcraft mess kit. Quite happy with it.
Bought some very cheap locks but they did not come with matching keys. I was not too happy with that.response / report this review -

Great stuff been buying my fatigues there for 20 years+ great selection uber friendly staff good prices. I could LIVE in this store! Way WAY better than the guys on granville or those guerrilla guys downtown. Seriouslybest surplus store in the lower mainland.period!!

I went to Westley since the mid 80's. Now new reno, new product, store don't smell anymore, everything neat and tidy, great improvement.
The staffs are friendly, but the owner is such a rude person! Full of attitude and arrogant . It doesn't matter how good the store is , if there is no heart to serve the customers, it won't go anywhere. I would rather talked to the original owner, make a joke or two, bought the stuff I want and leave with a smile even it smells in the store, but way better than it stinks from the inside of the heart and come out from his mouth.
Oh, Mr. Owner, don't pretend you care and write a reply and ask how can you help. This is so fake, did anyone really talked to you and you solved the problem or changed your attitude ? If you choose to treat your customers bad, we have all the right to give whatever comments we want.response / report this review -

Third visit to this company, and only the first time they didn't have what I was looking for.
Westley is a "bigger on the inside" surplus store with a broad range of gear and goods, spanning a century of warfare. It's a bit out of the way, but the staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I really wish I needed to shop here more often.response / report this review -

I bought a pair of lightly used combat boots and they gave an extremely fair price. Their staff gave me the right size which is hard to say about a lot of other places. They had lots of selection and I'd recommend going here if u are a cadet, hunter, veteran, or somebody of that sort. I wouldn't steer anyone that doesn't respect the military, or is only interested in the trends or fashion here.

Disappointment. Treated myself to a birthday present from this store. Over payed by quite a bit. Gave them a chance to fix the issue. They did not. End of story. Won't happen again.
