Typical mechanic crooks. They will take advantage of you when your in a hunch. Females and the elderly, stay clear of this place.

Took car for pre purchase inspection! Awesome job! Told me everything I needed to know. Even told me that the codes were all erased from the OBD, advised me take caution before buying. Offered to let me bring back the car for code read again after the data had enough time to cycle. Unfortunately the dealership denied me to bring for the follow up appointment, obviously
You guys might have saved me thousands and thousands!

It was awesome bringing my lexus to this store and the staff here was so helpful and courteous to take care of my car. I definitely recommend this store because the whole staff are knowledgeable mechanics who can figure any problem out.

This location of Minit-Tune has been looking after all my vehicles since I moved to Coquitlam back in 1999. Very happy with the service. They do a good job of explaining what they are doing, and how much the services cost.

Needed caliper fixed. Told might wife we also needed new brakes, sensor, and rotor. Total BS. Would have been almost $1,000. Went to another mechanic, only needed caliper: $200 and done.

Absolute rip off! They are the epitome of shady car shops do not take your car here, they tried to rip off my girlfriend and told her she needs to spend $500 on a part that wasn't broken, and the issue they claimed to have fixed was not resolved after spending $700. They should be shut down!

SCAM!!! DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. This shop took advantage of my mother in a big way. She went in for a simple front brake job on a 2009 vehicle and walked out with a $675+ bill in parts which didn't need replacing and in service which didn't need doing. The icing on the cake is that her brakes STILL SQUEAK. When she returned to ask about the squeaking they were EXTREMELY rude and aggressive saying, "they have been mechanics for more that 30 years, they know what they're doing". OBVIOUSLY NOT. Save your money and stress, DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE.

I was having issues starting my car & the "check engine" light was on. I took my vehicle to Minit-Tune. After waiting 2 days I was told by the mechanic i was low on transmission fluid and the starting was having issues. They changed the starter, fixed a leak in the transmission line and was only charged for the starter replacement.
The mechanic went out of his way to help me with this major problem as I needed my vehicle as soon as possible. Nice staff and would def. take my car to this location.response / report this review -

Wouldn't recommend going here. They'll try and sell you things that your car doesn't need and make you think that your car actually has a lot wrong with it when in fact it doesn't.
I was not happy with the attitude of the mechanic I spoke with or additional "fees" on my final bill. I will not be returning.response / report this review
