I had my wife's car repaired at this location twice. The first time, the service was top notch. The second time, someone did not install the battery properly causing the positive lead to short and cause an engine fire. The car would have burned to the ground if she was driving at the time. They owned up to it and did the repair. The battery died several months later. Turns out they didn't replace the battery claiming it "tested fine". THEN the manager tried to sell me a new battery AND an alternator. I said I would take it to the Lexus dealer and they said "Oh NO, they will SOAK you. DO it HERE! We'll give you a GREAT DEAL!" I took the car to the Westwood location and they replaced the battery, NO charge. Of course only AFTER I suggested I would just call ICBC as suggested by a battery vendor.

We got our windshield replaced. Job was done properly. They also cleaned the inside of the car. I would rate them fivehowever, they refused to provide a statement with total amount of the job done after we paid $200 deduction under ICBC coverage. It is common to provide customer a statement/formal receipt with description, price, and taxes listed clear! The statement is also very important for accounting purposes! Why your company refuses to provide a statement of what paid for and what signed for?!

Never thought I would have to write a review of dissatisfaction for a franshine company like Kirmac, however I have recieved the worst costumer service experience I've had so far by them. Someone has mentioned this before in the reviews and I thought it was just a one time occurence but it seems like this has happened again, only this time to me. Very poor communication between the costumer and kirmac. I was told one thing and when I had to chase, and I mean chase someone down to figure out what I was promised I was scolded, by their assistant manager Shay. It seems that Kirmac hires people who have never worked in costumer services and do not know how to handle complaints of their service properly. Very disappointed, and what should have been and easy 2 min conversation, resulted into a mess which could have been avoided. Pure and simple, you promise to call your costumers back, CALL THEM BACK. DONT MAKE THEM CHASE YOU FOR A RESPONSE. I strongly advice to look at repair shop near by. The only reason I choose this one at the time was due to the high review rating on Google, boy was I mislead. -Mike

I searched high and low, every hardware store, wholesaler, supplier that I could find for some 2000 grit sand paper. The manager at this store gave me some 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit sand paper. He refused to accept any form of payment from me. He went out of his way to help me, I am very thankful and would not hesitate to go back here in the future.

Oh boy, where do I begin.
My saga with this body shop begins more than a year ago. October of 2015 I brought my vehicle in for an ICBC repair. I was told that due to the nature of the collision, they weren't even going to repair the body panel, so it would be a simple replace and repaint, and as such, should be ready the following Thursday. Well, the following Thursday came and went, with no communication. I proceeded to call both the Friday and the Monday, which got no response. Finally I borrowed a friend's car and drove down there on Tuesday, and found the entire front of my vehicle still torn apart. I was told they had to repair the clips that held the front bumper on, and that the fog light had also been damaged. Now, I get it, delays happen when things start getting taken apart and more damage is discovered, but the lack of communication was unacceptable.
I finally received my vehicle a full week after I was told it would be ready, and found the repair to be wholly unsatisfactory. The colour match on the fender and front bumper was terrible, The fender did not fit/was not aligned properly, they entirely forgot to paint the dent repair on the rear door, the clear coat on the front door began to peel at the top almost immediately, and the fog light filled with water when it rained. I returned on 5 different occasions to have these issues rectified (ICBC only requires that I return twice before escalating my complaint) including having to wait for over an hour on 3 of these occasions while they attempted to fix my fog light, and only my fog light. The last time I returned I was told that they "didn't have time" to deal with the fact there was no longer any clear coat above my drivers window. So I was left with no other option but to escalate my claim with ICBC.
It took me months to organize a meeting with Mike, the head of estimations at ICBC. But almost immediately once I plead my case with him, and explained everything this shop had put me through, he authorized me to take my vehicle to a different shop, and have the damage Kirmac cause to my vehicle, repaired.
One would think it would end there, but it does not, as the new shop I brought my vehicle to made some startling discoveries. The sheet metal behind the fender that holds it in place was heavily damaged, and is likely the reason the fender never lined up properly when it was replaced. The left headlight had all of its bottom attachments snapped off; I was told this had to have happened during the original collision, as the posts had remained bolted to the vehicle and were rubbing against the back of the headlight. And the o-ring in the rear of the fog light housing had been damaged during the original installation, which is why it always leaked.
Since I had my vehicle repaired the second time, by a different shop (who I will not, and cannot link here, sorry) I've had zero problems. The paint match is excellent, my lights don't fill with water, and my left headlight no longer points at the trees.
In conclusion, don't have your vehicle repaired here, go literally anywhere else.

This shop is awesome! The people at customer service are very friendly, (Niel,Latoya& Kazim) I've been in many car shops before, and this shop has so far been the best shop out of all of them. Five stars!!!

    Pros
The staff there when dealing with them in person were very friendly and chatty which was nice.
It didn't take long to get the process started which again was good.
The work done on my vehicle seems to be done well so no complaints there.

    Cons:
The lack of communication - I was told things would happen which didn't and I ended up having to chase people to get the information I needed.
The replacement vehicle took well over an hour to organize after I dropped my Jeep off which is ridiculous.
I received confusing and inaccurate information which caused me frustration and concern.
It took longer than what I expected to get my vehicle back.

Very good repair on my rear-ended vehicle. It's just like new! Service was good as well. The 2 reasons I gave this less than a perfect score is that after waiting for an appointment for a month (which was fine), it still took a week for them to complete the job owing to so much business. The other reason is that the rental they provided me (a leaky sub-compact) was less than desirable. Otherwise an overall pleasant experience.

I've been to this location with my 2 vehicles for 4 claims. Never had a problem. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My last claim I asked the claims fella if he could look at my hood. It had a egg stain from a few years ago that I could never get out. He said he'd see if he could buff it out. When I picked my Audi, they had not only got the stain buffed out but also washed and vacuumed my car like I hand washed it myself. Very impressed!
