Really nice clean and beautifully designed place. Complementary breakfast was great, rooftop hot tub was absolutely amazing, and rooms were both clean and spacious. All around great place, just slightly pricey.

Our junior suite on the 2nd floor was outstanding. With a balcony with chairs and a table we were easily able to enjoy morning coffee or a late night dinner. Beautiful facilities that were spacious and complete. While parking is additional it's reasonable for downtown Toronto. Hurry before the soon to be built condo cuts off some of the magnificent views from the rooftop terrace that include hot tubs. The included breakfast buffet is kept stocked with both hot and cold foods and servers often keep your coffee filled.

Excellent level of service. Staff are very accommodating. The hotel facilities are posh, and remarkably clean everywhere you look. There is a large park with a gorgeous public indoor greenhouse not too far away and the hotel is fairly centrally located to get anywhere in the city.

Staff goes above and beyond to be friendly at all times and really makes you feel welcome. The place is really well maintained and has tons of amenities. Breakfast isn't amazing, but it's definitely decent, with plenty of options from cereal to fruit, to eggs, sausage, bacon, coffee, juices and more. The rooms are decent sized, well kept and even have microwaves. There is a indoor pool with sauna and spas, and a beautiful rooftop area with great views and 2 additional outdoor hot tubs. Very glad I picked Grand Hotel and Suites to stay while visiting Toronto!

I spent the night before, and the night of my wedding at the Grand Hotel and Suites. I worked with Tara, the Event Manager, in the months leading up to my stay and she was phenomenal to deal with in my long list of "wants" for a hotel room since myself and my bridal party were getting ready there the morning of my wedding. She made sure i got an AMAZING room with a tonne of natural light and floor to ceiling windows so that my pictures would turn out great. She also arranged for a complimentary bottle of champagne delivered to the room. The hotel is beautiful, continental breakfast was unreal and staff were so pleasant. What an amazing experience! We booked a junior suite and received a complimentary upgrade to a loft sweet. The room was extremely large and lovely, it even had two bathrooms. Plenty of towels, clean and bright with lots of windows. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The pool was beautiful and the rooftop hot tubs are a sight to see. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. It's very busy but they keep it well under control with lots of options for food that gets replenished often. Highly recommend this hotel.

My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights and we're very pleased. The staff was courteous and professional. They provided a complementary upgrade from our reserved Jr suit to an impressive loft suit. The room was clean and came furnished with appliances and 2 bathrooms. The full complementary breakfast was hot and delicious and they had a large variety of foods to choose from. The rooftop hot tubs offered a nice view of the city. The wind was a bit cold on a March evening but the water was hot and the projector screen playing classic pop music videos added a nice touch. The basement also has a hot tub and a swimming pool. All of these amenities require a room key for access for added security. I would certainly recommend this hotel and plan to visit again.

Best hotel experience I've had in 6 years. The staff service was excellent. Jill at the front desk and Grant in the dining room were particularly attentive and helpful. Many hotels make you worry about all the things they don't want you to do, but this place feels like it's your home and the staff is there to help you do whatever it is that you want to do. The Saturday National Post, and the Sunday Toronto Star were left at our door in the mornings. The rooftop patio and hot tubs were great, and the videos playing on the giant theater screen while looking out over the city created a spectacular atmosphere. The room was clean and bright with a great view of the downtown. The room could use some maintenance attention (wiggly toilet handle, caulking touch up on the moulding, floor starting to wear from water splashing from the in room Jacuzzi)

We just stayed there last night. The room was very nice and well-appointed. It is located on the fringe of the busier downtown core near plenty of restaurants and a short walk from the Eaton centre. The rooftop hot tub was cool and provides a great view of Toronto's skyline. We went downstairs to the pool and enjoyed that as well. The water was the perfect temperature. The free breakfast buffet was pretty good, and we left stuffed and looking to possibly return again in April.

Can't say enough good things about the hotel and staff. The room was perfect! Large with a separate sitting area that was great for entertaining a friend. Room service was quick and friendly. The rooftop patio and hot tub area is out of this world and makes everything about this place even better! The included buffet has everything you could want! Fresh scrambled eggs,bacon, sausage, French toast, home fries, cereals, breads (even GLUTEN FREE muffins and bread), lots of fruits, yogurts and more.
Our only complaint is that the room still had a smell of stale smoke, which I'm sure if I would have said something about it we would have been moved but it was manageable.
We will continue to support this hotel because the staff and hotel are great!response / report this review
