Great event space with friendly staff. Room is well lit and spacious with a raised stage and professional sound system. Wet bar is out of the way so as not to impede views of the stage. Exclusive use washrooms are just to the side of the bar. Overall a good experience.

Went here for brunch which was decent enough. I had a classic breakfast with eggs, bacon and potatoes. Potatoes were the clear standouts. Coffee was decent. Overall the experience was pretty good. The only negative was that my food and that of my fellow dinners, was lukewarm to cold. Otherwise everything was acceptable.

I love the Gladstone. Super chill place to grab a coffee, meet for brunch OR karaoke to the high heavens and party all night: you pick! The staff members are beautiful, kind hearted people who are super friendly and make you feel at home :)

Food is quite good and the atmosphere nice. Service is spotty at best, especially in the morning. Everyday feels like you are wearing a cloak of invisibility. Even when you are standing right in front of a guest services person or at the cafe, don’t expect them to look up and say good morning. A more typical response is for them to walk away without acknowledging you. The good thing is they make a decent coffee - so I put up with it three days a week. But reluctantly.

A beautiful hotel with many picturesque spots and local art work, uses it's walls as a rotating gallery. Unique and beautifully designed rooms, always feels like a getaway. Very friendly hotel staff that provided us with heaps of local information and overall were genuinely interested in the reason for our stay and how our visit went. Great food, can't ever go wrong dining in, with many veg and vegan options.

Super hip hotel located in one of Toronto's best food and bar neighborhoods. The hotel structure and ambiance is very unique and the space turns into a galary in the day. The rooms are comfortable but a little loud at night and can use few more extra towels. If you're looking for a unique experience in a super cool neighborhood, Gladstone is a fantastic option.

Pricey for what it's worth. Hotel room was small but super clean. Whole place has a very hipster artist vibe. Floors are art galleries and that has show floors connecting to the room lobbies. The old vintage elevator was the coolest part of the hotel. You gotta ride it a few times while you're there.
WiFi was strong and reliable. Free coffee in the lobby was actually better than most hotel coffees. Best part was location though; really close to a whole bunch of great bars and restaurants.response / report this review -

I have attended several of the "12 Beers.." events over the years and found them to be enjoyable, for a reasonable cost. The brewery selections have become predictable, but the Gladstone is a great space and the live music is fun. I recommend avoiding the food at these events, grab something in the neighbourhood instead.

We attended the "That's so gay" art exhibit at the Gladstone Hotel. The exhibit was diverse and offered a critical lens from the perspective of several different under represented groups. The hotel itself was beautiful and unique, from the neon lights at the front desk to the antique elevator that is still operated by a professional. The help was incredibly friendly. And the location of the hotel is right at the edge of a great shopping district. I would definitely consider staying here in the future.

We just had lunch in the restaurant but it was very good. The Club sandwich was awesome. Their variety of local craft beers was also very welcome and the classic turn of the century decor and elevator made this an amazing experience.

This is a cool place. I was at the Melody Bar to see the band, but they had posters and such advertising the other events hosted here and they all looked like fun. The atmosphere, drinks, and service were all good. I would go back. 👍

Friendly customer service at front desk. Hotel is full of history. Old time elevators. Nice bar in hotel where you can have a drink in the evening. There for a social event and place was very lively full of interesting people. Did not have a chance to sleep over, but I would definitely attend this hotel again for social events.

The building is nice, the drinks were affordable, and the appetizers they served at our event were really good. The music was a bit too loud though. Also we had some vegetarians/vegans at our event and the staff was not very well informed about whether any of the food they were serving was ok for them to eat. They wrongly told one of our vegetarian attendees that the pizza was vegetarian, when it very clearly had chicken on it. Overall though, it was a really great place. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful space. Brunch was well priced and delicious. All four of us got different things and each loved our meals. The event room was small but gorgeous and everyone was friendly and polite. If you go ask to ride in their "cowboy elevator". It's fun :)
