Great hotel, very cozy and clean. The rooms are new which was very surprising. Me and my family were very happy, we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good. Staff good, accommodating. This hotel is near alot of restaurants.
Super8 Toronto North is great place to stay. Nice water slide. Rooms are new and comfortable. I will come again to stay soon. Staff is awesome. Nice hotel.
Best hotel, honestly front desk staff are very polite. They only accept credit cards which is understandable. They helped me and my family the weather was a little bad the lady at the desk was understandable and was reasonable with the rate. i was happy, breakfast was a bonus, swimming pool is nice with a HUGE slide.
Great place to stay, would highly recommend! We were lucky enough to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms which were so cozy and elegant. The staff were great and friendly, the lady at the front was so kind enough to give us directions around the area as we were new here. Parking and breakfast were a free bonus.
great place to stay. front desk staff was excellent. they are renovating rooms and i got newly renovated room. love the rooms. breakfast was good too.will definitely stay again GM gave his business card for batter price on our next stay.
Hotel is under construction and the rates are ridiculous! Renovated rooms are ok, about the same as the new Hyatt rooms, mine still had blue tape everywhere..hotel maid staff was very nice, front desk personnel day 1 and 2 were great, front desk girl day 3 was rude and unwilling to assist me. The GM is rude to everyone including guests, absolutely unacceptable.
We chose this hotel mainly for the water slide. The kids loved it. The room had damages (stain on the floor and damage to the bathroom) that we were sure to report upon checkin. The staff were for the most part friendly. They only have 1 waffle maker for breakfast so at some points people had to wait to get waffles but it was still a decent continental breakfast. The price and the waterslide alone were enough for us to go back if the timing was right.
If I could give this Super 8 negative stars that is what I would give it. Checked in on a Thursday night for 30 nights. First room had a broken compressor with no air. Given another room. New room infested with Noseeums and my Son was bitten 33 times during the night. Welts and inflammation all over his legs, arms hands and feet. Front Desk not sympathetic at all. In fact I brought a bug to the Front Desk and Front Desk Associate did not even mention it to the next person coming on after her shift. The room was infested. They did not even want to take that infested room out of the system as I advised that they had a problem and needed to have an extermination crew come in and make sure all the Noseeums were killed so no one else would have to suffer with 33 insect bites.Given another room. Advised the day before a long weekend 7 nights after we checked in and changed rooms 3 times that I had to check out as they did not realize they were oversold and provided no alternate. Did not care there were no alternates and that we were out on the street with no place to stay nearby. This Super 8 focuses on bus groups and doesn't care about individual guests. They have 6 parking spots to park out front and if they are taken you need to park around the back. Back doors will not grant you access so you need to walk around the entire building to get in. Parking lot is used for several buses bringing groups in. Staff have a I don't care attitude and thought nothing of kicking my Son and I out the day before a long weekend and having to fend for ourselves. They did not even call us just locked my Son out after work so he would have to go to the front desk for them to let him know we needed to check out as I was out of town on work. He called me right away and I had to drive 400 kms come back pack up check out and find another place to stay. If they could not accommodate our reservation for 30 nights they should not have confirmed us in for 30 nights. Will never stay at that property again. I have never written a negative review about a hotel and am an easy going person that does not expect much just a clean comfortable insect free room and not to be kicked out. This property had none of that and a team of Associates who could not care or even apologize for any inconvenience we incurred. I felt obligated to write this review as I just did not want anyone to go through what my Son and I had to go through.
Decent room. Pretty basic as far as a hotel will go. No complaints
Better then 5 stars hotel we were in Downtown Toronto. Best customer service. Rood had a full refrigerator and microwave. Nice pool with a slide for kids. Decent price. We will come back again.
Good place. Clean. Pool! Comfortable bed
Lady at the reception was so rude. Her name is Diplali, I am there loyal client,I used this hotel very often. She did not care for anything ,she gave my dirtiest room on ground floor , Room number 108,
i Stayed there many times and I had my record in Hotel system for booking ,All other staff never asked my any thing but always helped me.But Diplai so rude and she was forcing me to show my passport and being rude to me.
This happened even after telling her that i am their good client , they have my recored, I stay there very often. She just didn't care.
Now i am not going back to this hotel again.
The service staff were amazing, and the room was reasonable and clean. The shower was old and in need of repair. The hotel is clearly undergoing some renovations to improve.
For our first visit there we found cigarette smoke smells in the non smoking rooms, the bed was some what too hard for my liking and was kinda sloped so as to slide you out of bed. The hotel was under renovations at the time of our visit which may account for some of these short comings. The breakfast while plentiful. I would have much preferred having hot scrambled eggs to cold boiled eggs, the in room coffee in my opinion was undrinkable. Perhaps the coffee machine needed cleaning, but I was not able to drink it.
Took the bridal sweet, that was a mistake. they have a Jacuzzi there, which takes up all the room for the bridal party to get ready. and if you think the Jacuzzi is a great idea, think again. you show up and you are running around like a mad man, you get back to the hotel drunk full and tired as hell, only to get up early the next morning to begin the wedding process then don't return again until after the wedding when it is 4 am, drunk again, tired as hell and gonna do the groom bride thing. trust me, take a king suite rather than the bridal suite, there is WAAAAy more space.
