I have just left non anticipated leave but I had to keep moving. The hospitality and service was a 11 out of 10. Very welcoming and super clean. I'm definitely gonna be going back for a one night stay with my family.

Terribly rude customer service and disgusting conditions. The rooms are dirty and receptionist is very rude. The receptionist almost charged me for not checking out on time and told me that “it’s not her problem” if I knew or not. At other super 8 they call at 9am to remind 11am is checkout. She was unreasonable to call at 11am to remind me that I have to checkout at 11. Not knowing i had to checkout I slept in and woke up 2 hours later and she wanted to charge me when I didn’t know. I ask for the manager and he’s not there, she said no one else but her is there. Initially I had paid cash and was going to extend my stay but according to her they “just don’t take cash anymore”. The policy suddenly changed in a few days apparently. She was intentionally giving me a hard time and had an attitude problem for whatever reason. Otherwise the place is very dirty and looks rundown. The price isn’t worth the horrible service and gross conditions. I don’t recommend this place at all.

There are dozens of motels and some hotels along the stretch of road. Most are very dilapidated. This place is decent. It has a very small swimming pool, but I guess that still counts as having a swimming pool. It has free WiFi and free breakfast. Breakfast is generally continental with some fruit on hand but of particular interest is the waffle making machine which you use to make a fresh hot waffle using batter. I only interacted with the reception counter staff which was fine.

Well I expected much worse. The rooms where very clean and up to date. (no bugs) nice tv. Nice bathroom. Even the breakfast was what I expect from best western or any other decent hotel. Honestly I would have gave this place 4 stars if it wasn't for the staff. I called to book the room and they said you have to pay now 190 I said I have 150 on my card now take that ill pay the rest cash when I get there. They said ok charged my card. When I got there they said that was just a deposit. (190 is ridiculous for a deposit) especially in a cracked out neighborhood. They then up the price of the room and said if I didn't pay 220 for the room I could leave. Because it was on my card I couldn't get the deposit back for 2 days which I'm still waiting for. And being night time I had to pay because everywhere else was booked. There some crooked people. (**update**), I got my deposit back like 4. Business days later

Stayed on 3rd floor. Room was spacious. I appreciated power bar included. Hotels should ALWAYS include a power bar with room in this electronic age in which we live. (And phone chargers!) Bed was comfortable although a little soft. Nice touch to have sink outside of shower /toilet area so one person can use sink area while other guest uses other facilities.

The hotel staff is really friendly and understanding. We needed our hotel room as soon as possible and the employee did his best to do that. However, the room wasn't great. I think the worst part was the bathtub, since there was no handle, meaning it wasn't disable-friendly.

I wouldn't even give this place a half a star.
The manager/owner Roman is a cheapskate when it comes to putting money in his own pocket. He is very unprofessional and rude to customers. He cares about one thing the almighty dollar and please DO NOT support him in renting one of his rooms for the night he doesn't care about YOU the customer.
Rooms that are on the third floor DOES smell like piss and cigarettes. Sally and the housekeeping staff does a terrible job cleaning. I had to bring my own supplies (Lysol, Windex etc.) because what the cleaning staff has to bring from home to clean the rooms doesn't do anything. The hotel doesn't supply them with anything, they have to buy cleaning products. AND they were rude when I asked for clean towels in the morning because I don't want to shower at 4 in the afternoon when they've cleaned the dirty towels from the morning. Saving the environment? I think not.
Breakfast is toast and coffee. Not worth it. I'm surprised parking is free here and he doesn't charge a fee. Do not try the pool. I don't know what you could possibly contract in there.
This place should be transformed into a shelter like the place where the Comfort Inn was. People that need affordable housing should utilize this place instead of millionaires. Highway robbery at it's finest.
I had a naked man stand in front of my door the one night and thank god my husband was there with me. Police, drug dealers and hookers are always there doing God knows what. It is NOT a family friendly motel. Please please stay away. It was a nightmare.response / report this review -

The location is definitely east as their official name suggests for it lies very much outside of the Toronto city limits. The rooms were fine for a budget motel but did have a strong chemical smell and the sheets were not in pristine condition. Breakfast did not include any hot items and the dining area was fairly small. The desk attendent on duty was friendly and helpful but was stingy about charging me for a third occupant in the room. This was not our first choice but is a safe choice along a road with numerous motel options.

This was a typical motel. The free breakfast was super cheap, Orange juice was very watered down. Plus the indoor pool was closed, with no water in it. To my kid the pool was a big disappointment.

The service was awful. The bed was badly made. The pool was out of order. It smelled like smoke all night long in a non smoking room. Someone was having sex and smoking in the room next door and the staff did nothing and it keep me up almost all night. Went down for Continental breakfast and there was almost nothing there compared to what I was told there would be and the staff din't care about anything. would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

After reading the replies for this motel. I thought of the worst. Yet after coming here it wasnt as bad as I thought. Yes they are under renovations. The hallways are dirty, no elevator, and the stairways need upgrading. But getting to our motel room it wasn't half bad. I had to re clean the bathroom because of a dirty toilet and shower, but everything else was clean expect a very moldy orange peel in the corner of the room. They definitely do need to put in more work but I believe after its done it'll be a nice motel.

The desk greeter was very friendly and pleasant. My room was neat, clean, and tidy except for one stain on the carpet floor. The bathroom was clean and overall I have no complaints.

THE WORST OF ALL TIMES .
VERY DIRTY, SMELLY.
Very uncaring staff. We had to explore the rooms to find if they were clean, if I found one, by the time I came back, the desk person said that has been already rented! Next I would go looking, if the toilet didn't flush he was shrugging! Next room the door was broken! Wouldn't lock or even close! This went on for a while! Like 4 rooms. There were other customers going through the same experience. Very bizarre!
There was a crowd! All frustrates!
We were very tired, late in the evening, so took a room that did have a functioning toilet, but no TV, nor hair dryer! That was the renovated one on the ground floor. The staff were demoralized, and apathetic. We had a wedding to go to so we lasted 2 days. The majority of the wedding party had prior reservation, so they came in to find the rooms, but all of a sudden the desk staff declared, that their reservations were cancelled! This is the beyond all norm.
If there was a way to let the Toronto Tourism authorities know these horrible conditions, we would let them know.
Just don't take a chance.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Please.
We had much better experience with the Holiday Inn Express, down the road .response / report this review
