The room was nicely decorated, clean, and well equipped. The walk from the underground parking to the lobby felt a lot like walking through the airport. It was quite the hike. The conference facilities that I saw were well maintained. The food was adequate, but the hotel seemed woefully understaffed. On the Friday night, we ate in the bar, and the server was very sweet, but beyond busy. Saturday night we had a banquet, and there were far less staff than they should have had for a group of people as large as we were.
I attended for a conference. It was great to see a Starbucks inside. It was easy to navigate and the rooms were well lit. Ample hallway space to have vendors along the way on one side and walking space on the next. The washrooms were nice and clean.
Updated rooms are nice. Lounge has good food. Parking is convenient. Service is usually fantastic. Overall highly recommend for this part of the city.
Was upgraded to a premium suite so this might effect my review. Staff at check-in was fast and friendly. Room was very nicely appointed. For the price it was a deal and close enough to Vaughn Mills. I'd stay again. Breakfast was also a nice surprise.
Had a lovely stay and an excellently catered conference. The housekeeping staff were friendly and did a great job! The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, with a comfy bed, and had been recently renovated. I would definitely stay there again. >^..^
Only came to their Sunday brunch buffet. Nice and courteous staff, plenty of food selection, quality is enjoyable but nothing to write home about. The decor can do with a little update, and the location doesn't provide a view, but otherwise the experience was positive overall.
Great hotel. Bar open till 1.00 am. Popular destination for business folks. Starbucks n another restaurant for breakfast. Decent room service. Highly recommended.
The location is good. With help of a GPS you get to the Toronto Harbour Queens Quay in less than 30 minutes. The rooms are clean, attractive and comfortable. The elevators quite efficient, not much waiting time. The staff friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet is OK, though a bit pricy for what is served. It is not included in the price of the room.. The air conditioning system is a bit too loud.I just did not know ho how to stop it. Otherwise.a pleasant stay.
Wish I was advised that the hotel was going through remodeling and they didn't put us on the 3rd floor which is right above the work being done. We did enjoy the amenities like the work out room and pool in the hotel and access to health club connected to hotel (which had another indoor pool, an outside one, racquetball courts, and another work out room). Also, it was nice there was a Starbucks right in the lobby.
Cleanliness of the room was not the best. The sheets were dirty and the one quilt layer is disgustingly yellow. They really need to invest in new linens. Might stay here again if I'm on my own, but definitely not with the family.
Great location right off highway 7 and highway 404. Hotel is under renovation, part of lobby is newly renovated, part of it is pretty run down. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was big. Very much newly renovated, with new decor and big flat screen TVs. The con: Sheraton evidently is spending huge sums of money renewing the hotel, why are they not making the rooms more sound proof. With paper thin walls and doors, I could here the upstairs neighbor dropping stuffs, the people in the hallway and even my neighbor's alarm clock. And the mini fridge is very noisy. I had to unplug it.
The lobby is beautiful however I think that I have had a too high expectations in regards to the room. Decor is okay, bathroom is okay, nothing is really wow. Just a great place to stay in Markham. The location is perfect if you want to stay near Markham but the parking place is really too thight
Parking was horrible when I was there for a convention. But otherwise, good service and spacious. There is a mall connected to the hotel with more good options if you're feeling lazy. Timmys outside. Time square across if your are feeling brave. It's the location that is good I would say.
The room I got as an SPG member was fantastic. It was large enough for a couch and lounge area, a bar, and even had a microwave in it. Also included was a bottle of water and coffee. The hotel is also within walking distance of tons of restaurants, many of which are open until 2 am. Also, while walking around you can't help but notice that there are alot of "massage" parlours open until 2 am as well.. For those that may need a release I suppose
Stayed here while in Toronto on a training course. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was busy with lots of guests and I heard from others that this is the usually the case. No issues with noise but breakfast was busy. The buffet breakfast was good and I managed to find enough variety each of my 5 days. Shuttle service to and from the training was prompt and a major bonus as I don't know Toronto (or Richmond Hill) at all. Hope to visit again.
Nice room, poor view ( looks at the rooftop and the neighbouring hotel) but that's not a big deal. My biggest issue was that the room was not thoroughly cleaned upon arrival. Little hairs around the bathroom floor, tub, and sink, and soap scum around the shower. There was a dark corner bar/counter that was very dirty on the shelf. The drawers had some dirt inside. The other surfaces were acceptable. There was a door to the neighbouring room, which let the sound of noisy tenants through very easily. Housekeeping during our stay was thorough. Overall a good stay although I expected a higher standard of cleanliness for the price of the room.
