Used one of their conference rooms for our work Xmas Party. The catering service, bar, DJ were great and the room was beautiful. On the downside the women's bathroom was ignored all night, was a mess and out of paper towel near the beginning of the night. With at least two major events happening you'd think they'd have it well stocked or give it a check nope.
We booked our room specifically to enjoy the water slide only to find out it was closed when we brought the kids down.
The wifi blocks all streaming services (including audio ones) making it useless.
Our queen beds were definitely just doubles.
The hot tub was down for maintenance as well.
Our pillows were so light that they were nearly useless.
The breakfast buffet they comped after threatening to charge us extra for having a dog in our room (it was my infant son) was pretty good however.
Got to my room to relax after a long day of wedding party activities. Had someone else try to enter my room, because they gave him the same room. The rest of the stay was fine, but after a month I find out I have been charged twice for two rooms. They charged me for the other person's room and my room, I tried to get it corrected on the phone, they made it sound like that it was my fault. I didn't even get a simple apology. Terrible experience with management.
I want to split this review in two. First I have to give a 5 stars to the hotel overall, very clean and nice place. Costumer service exceptional and place very close to restaurants and plazas. Now I give a 2 start to the room where we were 633, overall very clean but with a real beatup mattress and unless you set up the a.c to the lower temperature you'll be up few times with room very hot. Other than that if you choose a different room probably your review would be different than mine. Do I recommend this hotel? Yes I do
My boyfriend and I stayed for one night and where treated very nicely. Staff was informative and helpful. I can't sleep without a fan, I requested one and they had no problem accommodating us.
We asked one lady at the front desk For directions on the best way to the falls and she told us to take the scenic route (very nice!) It was an amazing drive to the falls without lots of traffic. For sure will be staying again next time we visit Niagra Falls.
Would highly recommend. Close to many restaurants, fantastic indoor pool with water slide and excellent staff. We had to call for extra towels and they arrived quickly. Staff were very friendly.
Location was perfect. Our room was spacious (2 queen beds on first floor). The bathroom seemed sanitary. Their service I'd rate a 3/5. The pool seemed unsanitary, dirt or residue on sides of pool. No towels were replaced for other people coming to swim. And the lifeguard there was friendly but didn't seem to care about rules when it came to the slide they have in the pool. Breakfast was 4/5. Dishes had food stuck on them from previous meals.
This place is superbly clean from the entrance to your room to even the pool room.
The service doesn't go out of their way but if you do require anything they are attentive to you as soon as you walk up to front desk, pressing 0 and getting someone to answer is difficult.
Overall I enjoy this hotel if you want a place to escape kudos to the cleaning department. Impeccable rooms. Hilton garden inn should be proud of their team they have right now. Good job guys!
I was there for a business event and didn't stay at the hotel. The meeting room was spacious and accommodated our large group easily. Sound system was very good and staff that I encountered were all helpful and polite. I look forward to other events being held at this location.
I stayed at the Hilton for a wedding. The room was a good size, and had all the usual amenities. Staff were polite and accomodating.
My parents are staying there right now, so I joined them in the restaurant for dinner. Really great food all around. I had quesadillas, others had fish and chips and steak. Everything was excellent.
I wasn't here as an overnight guest; I was here to attend a breakfast conference. The event was bright and early, so it was essential that the coffee was hot and strong, which it was. They had everything laid out perfectly, including water, pens, and writing pads. The stage was well-positioned and there were no problems with the AV equipment.
The breakfast, a buffet, was served in time and the selection was very good. There was more than enough food and I didn't hear any complaints about it.
At the time, the manager was Ellis Perrin, whom I know well, having worked with him organizing events at other hotels. I hadn't realized he had joined Hilton, but he has always been extremely efficient and I have never had any problems with him overseeing any event.
Conveniently located just off Highway 7 and easy to find. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly and he was able to show us all the different rooms despite our arrival late in the evening. Rooms are newly renovated with hardwood floors and a lot bigger than you expect from looking at their website. More modern look. The king room has a huge amount of open space compared to the double queen room. Connecting rooms are available but you'd have to ask for the specific room number to get the 2 types of rooms you want as they vary per floor. Lobby is decent sized. Nice hotel overall, seems comfortable and close to amenities. Would consider staying here in the future.
