Don't buy the Sears warranty, it's a scam.
Although I buy things from here when they are on sale from time to time, I would not recommend it for fitness equipment. I bought a seemingly good treadmill for $1500 and have had the motor replaced 3 times in as many months. The tech told me I should just try and return it. WHICH I DID!! Customer service took a long time each time it was broken. BEWARE OF RIDICULOUS SALES when you buy your machine! I highly doubt my treadmill was worth $2500 before the $1000 off sale. They probably did that because those models were lemons.
I was told that for heavy duty treadmills it would be better to shop at a fitness specialty store and went to the one up by the highway1 in langley. They had cheap ones and expensive ones and found a good one in the middle that has held up well.
