It was an awesome stay. Nice pool an hot top. An Denny an shark club is there too.

So I walk in to the lobby to check in and the guy the front desk makes me stand there for 5 mins while he was doing god knows what with no acknowledgement that I was even standing in front of him. Then he tells me I don't have a reservation. Says he looks 3-4 times in the computer then the faxes I show him ID and he still can't find it. I call the company that made the reservation and she tells me "yes I got a conformation # for you" on speaker and he mysteriously finds me seconds before she says it.
I was looked down upon like I was going to go sleep in his bed or something. Not one smile or thank you. Put in one of the farthest rooms in the 50% capacity hotel. I felt worse than a dog that snuck in an open door.response / report this review -

Had family come down and help us move and we got them a room at the Sandman because we thought it would be more convenient for them to stay in a hotel with their toddler at the time compared to our place in boxes the room was nice but the microwave was broken and they weren't willing to put them in another room or take a microwave out of another room to accommodate them anyone with kids especially toddlers and babies knows the pain of getting a bottle ready for a screaming kid when they need it shame on your facility for putting a mother through that. Made her go to the lobby to warm up bottles in the middle of the night really? then complain about a crying baby? you guys are jerks

Very clean rooms. Soft sheets and hotel quality pillows. Checkout and check in went smoothly. Staff is friendly and attentive. The airport shuttle service is convenient.

The sandman is probably one of the best lower cost hotels in Saskatoon. The location is fairly good for getting around the city. The rooms are quite well kept. Really it's fairly plain but always meets expectations!

Staffs are friendly, receptionist was pleasant and house keeping team were great. Very relaxing and comfortable too. It was my first trip to Canada and I believe I had chosen one of the best place to stay. I will be taking back my lovely experience and show off with it back home in London. WELL DONE TO THE SANDMAN TEAM❤

The room was clean and welcoming. It would be nice if the pool was in better shape. The fitness room was not busy and was well equipped. Location is good and easy to get around with. Would recommend.

Very nice restaurant with good home cooking and available all day breakfast. Denny's restaurant is located in the South east corner of the Sandman Hotel and provides delicious meals at an affordable cost. The pancakes are made with buttermilk and the staff (ask for Brenda!) will always keep your coffee or softdrink full. Great place any day of the week, but especially good with the family after church on Sundays or before shopping on Saturday. Fast service, friendly staff, good prices. Can't beat it.

I ate at the Denny's attached to the Sandman today. Good service. Reliable food. The renos are great but the new booths are a tight fit for taller people.

The room was clean and very comfortable. It was a quiet stay, enjoyable. We had breakfast at the adjoining Denny's and the food was good. Staff was friendly.

Denny's makes a great breakfast. I'm a little disappointed that they don't serve grits anymore, but I imagine it wasn't a very popular item this far north. I got the red skinned potatoes instead and they were delicious!

Overall we were not very impressed. In pictures looks great, but is an old hotel with what appear to be low cost improvements. Felt understaffed and was very disappointed in how difficult it was to get room service (had to pay in cash.. who has cash these days?). We rarely use this service but I was hoping to surprise my husband on his birthday and after a lengthy conversation with the restaurant it appeared there was no way to do so. The setup of their suites is nice and were an ok price compared to the room size of lost other hotels.
