Not a great hotel, not terrible either, just okay. Service was excellent and staff friendly, room was perfectly clean and organized, also good selection of TV channels. Internet was easy to access and pretty fast.
However, the rooms were kind of dated and VERY cold (I actually went to bed with the complementary bathrobe on I was so freezing!). Had the spa suite but fireplace provided no heat which was pretty lame. Pool was a good size but again sort of chilly and the "hot tub" was not even lukewarm and barely above pool temperature. No complimentary breakfast which is always a disappointment. Most absurd of all was the $15/night PARKING FEE that wasn't mentioned anywhere obvious.
Most upsetting thing of all was I got a voucher from work for a free night stay at the spa suite, and they LOST THE VOUCHER. I'm sitting here nervous that I'm going to be charged $200 and will have to go fight for a refund. Thank goodness for multiple friend witnesses, a camera at the desk, and the fact I got the voucher from a raffle at my workplace so they can prove they purchased it and I received it. I was allowed to walk away for now but I don't know if they're still going to charge my card in the end. Would have given 3 stars if this hadn't occurred.
Overall, I wouldn't stay here again nor really recommend it to anyone. It's not terrible but there's easily better.response / report this review -

Clean and nice. The pool is heated and nice they offer a $5 voucher for not having your room cleaned for multiple stays. It works at the restaurants attached or the Starbucks in the lobby. The gym is very small but had a few machines and free weights.

Really nice hotel. Restaurant has great food and great service. Everyone very friendly. Rooms nice and clean. Quiet. Great views. Location is dead center of downtown; close to multiple good restaurants and shops. Overall, highly recommend.

It's a nice hotel. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms feel a bit dated but still a solid place to stay downtown. We're here for a conference, and or seems like a few other companies are also. We were told to leave the bar around midnight because the staff shut down the bar. There were about 20 of us. We ended up migrating everyone to another pub a few blocks away, but it seemed unnecessary given there was a bar on site and multiple companies booked their trips in advance.

I was in the hotel with a bridal party. I was a photographer for them. The suite the bride was given was absolutely beautiful. Everything was very beautiful.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful rooms. Clean, comfy, great night's sleep. I was impressed that the pool, hot tub, and fitness center were open to 11pm, nice bonus!

Excellent experience all around. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds, and fairly quiet. Our room had a fridge, coffee maker and a microwave oven. The services such as the restaurant and bar were good. Relatively secure indoor parking is available. Has a small but nice indoor pool. The staff were very friendly, plentiful and helpful. The location near the city center is excellent. The prices were quite reasonable. The only negative was in the room we had, a sliding glass door for the bathroom was a poor design choice as you can hear everything through that door, and it is not very secure.

Stayed in the King suite with Jacuzzi tub -spacious room but found it actually uncomfortable to sleep as the bed was too soft and I want in it. The pillows were also way too soft. The tub was very old and the jets were very soft in pressured water. Barely felt them going. It was unpleasing to look at as well in general due to the age and the sides of the tub falling apart. Clean and spacious. Has a pull out sofa, Tv, and fire place. Only hotel on our long trip from Ottawa to Edmonton that did not have complimentary breakfast. (I would check out poached a couple of blocks away for breakfast and the raven and the rook for lunch in the area. Also recommend Congress hall beer for dinner) Overall a mediocre experience at the hotel. Might be staying somewhere else next visit.

I've stayed here on a few occasions and have always found the customer service to be excellent. Additionally, the hotel is centrally located, with multiple restaurants in the neighbourhood. The river is only a few blocks away and is a great place to go running. Rooms are clean and modern. Wifi is free.

Went to the Hilton garden inn for a meeting. The lobby and the room were very nice and clean. All staff working were very friendly and helpful.

Loved it. Convenient downtown location and pet friendly rooms! Very polite staff and clean updated rooms. All you need from a hotel in my opinion. I would stay there again.

clean room but just "okay" service AND I can't seem to get a response to my questions about why they charged me this crazy DMP charge above and beyond my room rate AND they added tax to this crazy charge. I may have to file a claim against my credit card. If you choose to stay in this convenient spot just beware the hidden charges.

Hotel is in a great location downtown with many places to eat with in walking distance. Not too sure about those adjustable beds though. If you only adjust the one side it will feel like there are 2 different beds. All in all. Good place to stay. Will most likely be staying here again.
