It was a great place to stay overnight and it has a very good location. The service was great and friendly. A bit of noises on the weekends since the club is under the hotel.

Excellent location. Very small room, i stayed as single occupancy and it was just manageable. No buffet breakfast. Fixed menu served on table. Take it if booking at last minute and other nearby property are booked.

Cheap and our room was clan. It was fine for the price. The lobby/hallways were dirty, dated, and smelled bad - however if you are not fussy on that sort of thing you'll be fine. The room was quiet and we were able to sleep fine (on the 5th floor.)

Great location. Fair price.
Parking was a bit of a ripoff - $18/night. First off, the lot's only accessible from the alley; also, they claim to valet the cars each night to a separate garage; this NEVER happened. They never moved our car and we simply drove out of the same lot each day, which you MUST back out of, into the alley.
This wasn't a problem for us since our rental car had a backup camera, but I can imagine others having difficulty.
Also, the elevators are terribly out of date. Both are really small (max occupancy: 5 people), move really slowly, and one looks like it was made 40 years ago.
The greatest thing about the hotel is NOT the hotel: it's the location you're in, and the price you're paying.response / report this review -

Convenient downtown location, but becoming a rundown area. Carpets were quite dirty. We saw two drug deals happen right in front of us immediately outside the main door. Felt like it was more a residence hotel than one for travelers. However the room was clean and the bed comfortable, but the pillows were very very firm. Would not stay here again.

We booked this hotel through Priceline thinking it would live up to its brand name. I was disappointed by the room that we had gotten primarily because as odd as it sounds our carpet was sticky and quite gross.
The ladies at the front desk were sweet and accommodating but other than that the main purpose of stay aka the hotel room did not live up to par.
Moreover, the neighborhood that this hotel is in is quite sketchy and is not suitable for families.response / report this review -

The location has it's plusses and minuses. It's downtown, which is good, but if you dislike panhandlers, you won't appreciate staying here. The rooms, and the hotel itself, are old, with a thin skin of update and lipstick. On the upside, this gives it a charm you won't find at a highway more, for sure. It's reasonably priced, with transit at your door, and on site parking. Overall, not the best hotel I've stayed at, but far from the worst.

It was nice. Pretty much what we expected. We went to see an improv show and it was close to the hotel. Rooms were clean. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the pillows were not comfortable, all were very very tall overstuffed. They didn't have any medium or flat pillows.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended nice places to visit around. They kept our bags before our check-in so we could visit the city and enjoy our time. They gave is heads up about noices from the club on Saturdays. The rooms were okay for the price but having an exhaust fan in washroom would have been better.

We got a square room with a king size bed. That left about 4 feet from the edge of the bed to the wall on all three sides. The bed hindered access to the closet.
I was woken up early every morning to the sound of garbage pick up out back. The mattress was not as comfortable as I tried to sleep past the garbage pick up noise and I ended getting up at 7am. The bathroom was a good size, bright and CLEAN!!!! What a difference that can make. Parking is at the side, $18.00 per day and they move your car to underground at night.
There are plenty of homeless in the area asking for change and one had followed my us to the car and was persistent asking for change which I said repeatedly said no. Lesson learned, do not stand by your vehicle rejecting requests for money as someone snotted the gas cap while it was parked from 4pm to 5:30pm.
Good staff, must point out Mrs. “S” at the counter for being very nice and cheerful. Full points for her as I observed her cheerfulness dealing with other customers and talking with co-workers while I was sitting at the front area.response / report this review -

My friends were staying at the Ramada, and I went to go visit them in their hotel. The lobby was elaborately decorated and very interesting, but when we were going to the room I was confused by the layout of the place. Their room was split into two and had a kitchen complete with a stove, which I thought was a nice touch. It comfortably fit 3 of them and it seemed to be a fairly nice room, especially at the price point. It is located very conveniently next to everything on Granville. I stayed at the Best Western, but if I went back I would consider going to the Ramada instead.

Good location for a decent price. We got a great deal for staying here. It's located close to anything you need. The rooms are ok in size and the building itself is somewhat old feeling. But the staff is good.

Clean room. Phone wasn't hooked up properly. Heating controls were nice. Fridge and other amenities were provided. Lack of channels, no bathtub and generally a small room.
Also, elevators and building itself is quite old. A decent place if you're just looking for something quick in downtown Vancouverresponse / report this review -

Great location!!!! Right on Granville Street in an area close to everything you would need. Small, but perfect for a few nights. Staff was very accommodating! One downside is it is right beside a nightclub, so if you are looking for a quiet place this wouldn't be the best. But if you are looking for a good location near lots of nightlife, restaurants, etc. it is perfect!
