Hotel is nice with friendly staff. My only complaint is the constant elevator noise. The location of our room meant that we heard the elevator machinery running constantly.

Great location downtown, up to date rooms with real kitchenette (microwave, sink, 2 burners, fridge and freezer, dishwasher), friendly service. Good pool including hot tub. Good breakfast.

I stayed on the 6th floor & really enjoyed the experience. I would definitely recommend getting a bigger room. Would stay there again

The hotel itself was nice but the secured parking was quite a steep price to pay especially considering my car got broken into the first night. After speaking to a few people it does appear this is quite common. Hotel was nice but if your using their parking make sure you remove all belonging and leave your windows down. Wasn't worth having to pay $180 for my window and $20 a night parking

Nice, clean room. Well maintained, hotel is quiet, full of professionals who are in town working. Included breakfast is great and price was reasonable. Recommend to anyone in extended stay, especially with included kitchenette.

The pool is indoors and small. For my room, the television was decent size but a little farther from bed than expected. The rest of experience was very good, particulary when compared to other Residence Inns.

Room was clean. Our group was being loud and a staff have us a warning within reasonable time. Although we were the ones that were given a warning, I appreciate the staff for being so quick to respond to complaints. The only issue we had is that the ice machine is on another floor. Would have been better if every floor had an ice machine.

The hotel was overall very good. Staff was very friendly, beds were comfortable, gym was modern and equipment was in good repair, and the pool was nice and kept very clean.

The hotel offered a free breakfast in the morning, which was delicious, though quite repetitive (same thing every morning, except for one morning where they had some sort of hash instead of sausages). Would have preferred to see a little variety in the hot food from day-to-day, but it was free so can't really complain. :)

The restaurant in the hotel has shut down as of April 10. So if you're looking for dinner, you'll need to venture out. Be warned, that most food in a 5-10 minute walk is pub-fare (or post-pub/club) food.

Rooms were acceptable. They are large, but the TV is quite small for the distance it was from the sitting. The rooms also felt somewhat dated, but they were kept clean and tidy and in good repair. The built-in Netflix was also a neat feature.

Note: there isn't much of a view for a skyline-view room.

Overall a decent and enjoyable experience.

The free breakfast is plentiful and varied! It more than compensates for the $19 a day parking. The bedroom is spacious and doesn't feel like your typical 'hallway' hotel room. Room is remodeled and it has a spacious 6 ft fridge/freezer and a kitchen you could easily cook in if you wanted. Tons of places to eat nearby so the location is excellent. Close (walking distance) to Granville island too! It's a small detail, and the bathroom has a curling fan!! Hotels rarely have ventilation! This made it feel like a home, as did the adjustable digital thermostat. Great stay. I could easily see myself staying for an extended stay if I had the need. Will definitely be back.

I love the Residence Inn because of the great staff there, the cozy, comfy rooms no matter where you stay in the hotel, and the location within walking distance of the whole rest of downtown. Mr. Won at the front desk is an amazing person that I recommend having a chat with. Trust me, you'll enjoy your stay.

Large clean rooms with a nice kitchenette. There wasn't much street noise at night and it was easy to sleep. Walking distance to the arena. Breakfast was pretty good. Matches expectations for a free hotel breakfast. Kids loved the waffles and the pool.

This place is awful! At first, we were assisted by a rude Asian front desk representative (I say Asian because he and his manager refused to give us his name). He was very quick with his words, cutting us off, asking us what our reservation name was under. We told him the name, and he said he couldn't find it. My sister told him she had a confirmation number, but before she could give it to him, he cut her off again and answered the call. Now, this was my first experience with the Marriott, my sister frequents here a lot, and she turned to me and told me that the service this guy was giving was BS. The Asian guy got upset hearing this and said he didn't want to help us out anymore. We were running late and asked for the supervisor. Jenny came out and got us checked in, but when my sister told her about how rude the Asian guy was, Jenny argued with my sister saying she swore at the Asian guy. When we asked for the Asian guy's name, Jenny said 'No' and told my sister she was 'emotionally unstable'. What kind of Manager says that to a paying customer? We checked out and ended up going to the Hilton instead. They have nicer rooms and WAY better customer service. Marriott Residence Inn in Vancouver has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Modern room with well laid out kitchenette. Conducive to working in the room with good lighting and adjustable chair. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom is modern with shower only (shower head one of the best I have experienced in a hotel). Fitness facilities are convenient with cardio and weights. Nice location with a range of surrounding restaurants.

This is my third stay at the Residence while working temporarily in Vancouver and once again it was a delightful experience. The hotel is friendly, beautifully kept and very well furnished in the rooms. A short walk each day took me to work and back from the hotel which is very conveniently located without the noise of the centre of downtown. I would particularly mention Mike at the front desk who goes out of his way to make sure I am made most welcome each time I stay. Mike is always ready to provide good advice from where the nearest grocery store is located to a really reasonable, good place to have dinner. All the staff are first class at the Residence but Mike always makes me feel that it is a pleasure to welcome me each time as a friend, not just a guest. At the end of a long day of work, his cheerful greeting as I returned lifted my spirits every time. I would not stay anywhere else in Vancouver. Looking forward to next time.
