King rooms are spacious. Hotel has complimentary Wi-Fi & indoor pool. The gym consists of 1 treadmill & 1 stationary bike. The restaurant - Argyle Attic is super cozy with great food, service & decor.

Had a room with a kitchenette, at a really great rate. Kitchen was missing a few essential utensils, such as a can opener and a knife with cutting board. Could not get the temperature to go down in the room, but setting up the fan that is supplied, and leaving it on in front of an open window helped at night. Parking is extremely tight, had trouble finding space for my truck. Perfect walking distance to so many touristy things. All within an hour walking, some as little as ten minutes. Many great restaurants around, as well as really fun pub attached to the hotel, as in a walk around the corner. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would gladly stay here again.

We stayed in a suite with a small kitchenette and a big soaker tub! It was the perfect place to stay for a weekend get away. Even though it was under construction, the guys waited till late in the morning to continue working so that didn't disturb us at all! The lady at the front desk was very helpful, and friendly! We loved the 25% off you got at the attached restaurant and pub. The food was good, and staff there were friendly too!

Good stay! My room was nice and clean, at the far end of the hallway so I didn't have much for neighbours which was nice, had a microwave which was handy. Room had plenty of plug ins in easily accessible spots. Fun fact: the shampoo in my room made a suitable substitute for bubble bath (was raining out and I didn't want to go anywhere). The lady at the front desk was very nice (helped me get the show I wanted on TV, helped me select a restaurant when the Argyle was closed and the pub had people that drank more than I wanted to be around, broke change for me so I could use the vending machine). Lobby was immaculate. My only complaint is that the hallway on the second floor smelled a little funky, but they are in the middle of reservations replacing the carpet and wallpaper in the hallways so I assume that's part of the reason for the renovations is to fix that. Moral of the story I'd be happy to stay here again.

Clean, quiet hotel within walking distance of the harbour, restaurants, and bars. The staff are friendly and helpful. Pro tip: Arrive for your reservation early enough to get parking in the underground parkade, or you will likely be faced work having to pay for parking elsewhere. The lot is TINY compared to the hotel.

Hotel is older and in the process of remodeling at least the third floor. Gym was laughable and lacking both space and equipment. Really disappointed to discover the sauna was out of order and completely gutted to the dirt floor. Great rate for down town Victoria though and friendly staff.

Convenient downtown location, close to main attractions. Rooms are well appointed, with expected services. Adjacent to Smiths Pub, which gives 25% discount on food.
