Nice room. Beautiful views and great service from the lounge. Great meal in the restaurant. View the see seaplanes taking off from your balcony

The service and food in the private dining room was very good. We had good attention but not obtrusive during a dinner meeting and have used them more than once.

The hotel seemed like a great place to stay, its located on the bay. The rooms are old and the decor is still a 80’s look. The prices for food are wayyy too high, coming from Alberta, must be the B.C. tax base. Upon arrival at 315PM my room wasn’t ready, they did some juggling g and got me into another room, my back was bothering me severely and Mary did a good job of finding another room. The small fridge was empty, not a bottle of water anywhere. Ordered room service, tips and delivery charge were added already. Very pricey Left the room at 9AM, came back at noon to rest up, room was not done up.maid was outside the door when I left so I presumed she would done my room next. I give it a 2 star because the checking gal was great. Otherwise I will not be recommending this place when in Victoria. Go to a modern hotel where they have an iPhone plug in.

Great stay and amazing service!
I stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and didn't have the best experience. I am so glad that I gave them another try because they have turned my opinion around and I would highly recommend this hotel. The location and views are great and the rooms are very comfortable. The best part of my experience was the service from staff - they were warm, friendly and responded quickly to my needs.

Would definitely visit again. The rooms were beautiful, with a great view of the water from the balcony. The staff were friendly and offered insights into the local attractions and places to eat. Parking lot was secured and location was right on the water front. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Was a great deal too through one of BC Ferries vacation packages.

They have a great Christmas brunch on Christmas day. Boardwalk along the inner harbour you can walk to downtown. Live piano in the restaurant. Also good venue for business conferences.

The hotel was very accommodating. The rooms were nice and we'll appointed. The staff were very friendly. The location is right downtown, most everything is within walking distance. There isn't anything bad that I can say about the hotel.

Always offering a pleasant experience, Laurel Point has been a family tradition to stay at over the holidays. The Asian influences for their restaurant, Aura, are quite inspired, and the comfortable ambiance of the dining area, along with the panoramic views, made it a memorable location for a birthday dinner. We also stayed in the more value-priced Laurel wing during that stay, but the amenities were still up to standard and spacious enough to meet our needs. The front desk staff were always patient and courteous, particularly the doorman. Although the hotel is situated at a bit of distance from the downtown area, the walk is quiet and scenic, so please don't let that dissuade you from booking here!

Having been to Aura several times in the past for lunch and dinner, it was an easy choice for my wife's birthday supper. I called a week before the dinner for reservations and was connected with a manager immediately. She was kind, gave me her direct line and had group menus to my email address in short order with the ability to substitute for allergies or preferences. We were told we would get a prime table with a good view and when we arrived on the schedule date we were not disappointed, seated in our own area with a view of the harbor. Service was excellent and timely, the staff were polite and personable, and the food was second to none. I will be definitely be back for more!
