Great service, delicious beer and fantastic nachos. Really great view both night and day too. Definitely enjoyed it.

We have dined at Spinnakers on several occasions as well as large family get-togethers. The food and service has always been excellent. The beers made on premises are very good. The brown nut ale is my favourite. The menu is great and offers vegan/vegetarian options as well. The fire oven pizza is delicious. Features are an ocean front view of the Inner Harbour and the boardwalk, outside patio, upstairs seating and open concept casual dining. Our trips to Victoria always include a meal at Spinnakers!

I have been a regular for the last 5 years but with the recent menu change, I will not be coming back for dinner. It seems the vegetarian options have been reduced - specifically their beet and bean burger is no longer on the menu. Also, they used to have a veg pot pie option and Indian dishes. But these are all gone. So if you are looking for a veggie alternative burger, you will only find beef, pork chicken and lamb. Very disappointing. Other than salads, there are only 2 vegetarian dinner options to choose from - mushroom linguine or vegan rice bowl. Both of which have no protein. I went with the mushroom linguine and it was one of the worst pasta dishes I have ever had. Super dry, no flavour and not sure if the pasta was old or under cooked, it was very hard. If you are looking for a place that welcomes vegetarians by providing fulfilling, nutritiously balanced mains, this is NO longer the place. The consistent removal of vegetarian menu items one after another does not create an inclusive eating experience. I hope you will rethink your decisions, Spinnakers.

I come here for the awesome beer selection, but I won't eat here again.
We often get beer here, and make a point to walk several km to enjoy a few pints, but each time we've ordered food it has been underwhelming. Last night we had reservations and were seated on time, but it took half an hour for anyone to come to our table to take our drink order - and that was after one of our guests flagged down a passing server.
It was very busy on the Saturday night of a long weekend but it should not have taken that much time for someone to check on our table. We were there for 1 hour and 55 minutes, and most of that time was waiting for drinks and food to come to our table.
My dinner was the battered sockeye salmon with fries. The fried batter was soggy and cold, while the salmon was thoroughly overcooked - too dry to enjoy, and the fries were nearly cold too. Often, people will say, "It's pub food - what do you expect"? But when your plate is in the $20 range, it needs to be better than just an ordinary pub food plate.response / report this review -

The little gift shop that greets you when you walk in is stocked with Spinnakers swag, fresh muffins, and homemade chocolates. These chocolates are incredible, and I'm very picky with my chocolates. The lavender honey is a must.
I've eaten at in the restaurant a few times and the food is really good, although a small minus for the huge apple chunks on my Hawaiian pizza. Not my style but it was still pretty good.
The last time the server seemed a little distant. Not rude, just not very engaged. Not a deal breaker at all since I cant wait to go back and sit on the patio and enjoy a drink.response / report this review -

We went for beer and applies. We sat with a great view of the inner harbour and had some great craft beer. I didn't eat but the apples that came looked great and the reviews were positive. Spinnakers has a great selection of craft beer for any taste.

My girlfriend and I love this pub !! Whenever we are in town we make it a priority. We prefer to sit upstairs but recently had a window seat downstairs and it was nice. The pizzas we had were amazing and the beer speaks for itself, Fantastic !! The Nut Brown is our favorite followed closley by Juice Monkey. The staff is always nice and the service is great. I highly recommend this pub for lunch or dinner. Looking forward to our next visit 🍺

Great staff, wonderful accommodations. The pub is in a beautiful location on the ocean, providing fabulous views. The restaurant has excellent food and you get a free flight of beer for staying at the guest house. Absolutely awesome, all around.

Very busy, staff seemed a bit stressed and rushed but overall experience was great. Food was excellent and the views are unbeatable. Great location, easy walk up from the ferry taxi stop! Also kid friendly.. always a plus.

In a fairly large, two story space, this pub and brewery serve up fresh and surprisingly complex bar food and craft beer. Having tried two of their fairly large list of house beers, I can say that neither that I had were bad or even mediocre, but neither stood out as anything particularly special. Their IPA was pretty subdued, but definitely drinkable, and their pale was very much the same. We were only there for drinks, but I definitely wanted to try their food, as what I saw coming out of the kitchen looked pretty good. The bottom floor is a restaurant space, open to all ages, while the upstairs is a 19+ bar. At the entrance is a small store with house gear and brews, including house cider which also looked pretty good. Prices and sizes were reasonable, and staff were very friendly. The view from the Brewpub was great and it was a nice walk there from the inner harbor.
