Room wasn't cleaned, just had the linens changed. Splashes of something found on tv, wall, dresser, mirror. Smudges on windows. Hair, soap scum, and used bars of soap in the shower. The WiFi in the room didn't work (it was the corner of the building) but I found the Ramada, next door, had free internet that was a stronger connection (you can choose for yourself to see the humour in that). It wasn't all bad, however, the breakfast in the morning is pretty cool if, like me, you allow yourself to get excited for a free breakfast (only because you've already given the hotel a bunch of your money), and the staff are friendly and helpful. The last time I was here I had a great stay, so this seemingly negative review is likely a deviation from what you should expect. Please consider other reviews before concluding your perspective.

Typical airport motel, basic room, just in and out, wifi OK, breakfast basic. Free airport transfers in and out Can be very expensive if cruise ships are in port, book early as walk in rate can be double booked rate

I liked the stay, hotel staff was friendly, breakfast was included and tasty as well. The channels were pretty good lots to choose from and the room was clean. The bed was nice and big but I do wish an extra blanket had been provided however I'm sure if I had asked I would have gotten one it was just really late when I got in so I went right to bed. A nice place to stay .

Room was clean and large. Breed was comfortable. Wifi worked excellently, breakfast was decent. Airport transport was on time. Tv packed hi - def which is of when you have a tv that does it. Seems cheap for the pricing of a room. Otherwise it was quiet and staff was good. We will return.

Upon arrival the front desk clerk was friendly and prompt.
The room was tidy and spacious and the bed very comfortable.
My wife did not like the fact that the coffee maker and supplies were stored on the bathroom vanity. She felt this was a very unhygienic place for food items.
My wife has a gluten allergy and there were no gluten free baked goods available at the complimentary breakfast. Please add some gluten free bread items to your menu.response / report this review -

Worked a treat - clean, friendly, with a delicious breakfast and free airport shuttle. Perfect for a late arrival or early departure. Not fancy, but excellent value for the location. Amazing park behind the hotel was perfect for a walk the next morning with a toddler and jet lag.

Room was comfortable. Breakfast was basic, but nothing special. Parking is okay in the underground parking lot. Front staff was friendly and nice. Overall, a nice hotel, a decent price and close to airport and Richmond centre.

Came here with my family for a night, they changed the price of the room after we had recieved the confirmation email with the original price. We had to fight to get the correct price and it took literally an hour.
We go up to the room and the Cott we requested wasn't there. Turns out "we" didn't reserve one.
We called over a month ago to confirm our stay, for 2 rooms with 2 queen beds. We are then informed they don't have any of those rooms left.. but due to the mix up, they would provide a Cott in each king-sized bedroom.
But as I said earlier there was no Cott, and claimed we never reserved one in the first place. So they scrounge up one but, don't have a second. Then they tell us we need to pay for the Cott they did have.
So now we have 6 people and 2 king-sized beds plus a single Cott We currently driving to Walmart to buy a blow up mattress for the one person without a bed.
They're unacomidating, and disorganized. I would NOT recommend staying here ever.response / report this review -

Friendly staff. Worn appearance in lobby and outside needs upkeep but rooms clean. Elevator broken and they charged me to upgrade to a king room because my 83 year old mother couldn't climb 3 floors to our reserved room. Shuttle to airport was on time and polite but is only hourly in morning.

This was the second cheapest hotel in the list. I was amazed at how good it was. Beautiful room, good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Throw in the free airport shuttle and you have the lot.

Quality Hotel was neither good nor bad. Functional, I think, would be a great description of the hotel.
Booking was easy online, though I got gouged on the price because of a convention across the street.
The room was clean, but a bit cramped. The bed was comfortable and the sheets fresh. Bathroom was neat and clean, but the towels were somewhat rough (I suppose to prevent theft).
Almost all of the staff were incredibly friendly - the exception being some management guy yelling into the phone at a guest about something or other.
Avoid the free breakfast like the plague. If you have to eat it for some unholy reason, stick to the "fresh" fruit and be sure to stay away from the rubber discs pretending to be eggs or the meat-like product in the shape of sausage links.response / report this review -

Here are my gripes with this hotel.
1) the oarkade sucks so much. There are extremely limited parking spaces. All of them (less than 24 spots for a 4 story hotel) are dedigned for small cars. My car is pretty small but when the parkade forces trucks and bigger cars to park in there, obvioisly it takes space and makes everything a tighter squeeze. Also doesn't help when idiotic drivers don't know how to park properly and share parking spaces like normal human beings.
2) the receptionist was such a rude and so unhappy with her job. Front desk is supposed to be helpful and friendly. She just asked for our info and spouted off her line about where to park and what the wifi password is and said have a good day. It was only us during the time of check in so no it wasn't busy.
The only saving grace is how clean the room is.response / report this review -

I was given a room facing the busy street. I went back to front desk asking if they could please give me a room facing the back alley. Both the manager and the reception girl said `` we are fully booked, no other rooms available `` .they were very un accomodatingand unwelcoming. I went to the hotel web site, and saw that they still had plenty of rooms available. They LIED to me !!!!!!!
