I attended a focus group event here. The hotel is renovated, but it is still in the style of a motel. The conference room where we were at was up a flight of stairs.

I visitors to participate in a Focus Group. Parking was easy and the front desk was aware of the event and pointed me in the right direction. If I had more time I would have visited the bar for a pint. If you're staying in the Poco area I highly recommend this property

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and they put us in a bigger room than we booked. Despite the location right on a busy road it was quiet.

Awful Went out for my cousins wedding with me 1.5 year old.. I told them BEFORE we left for the wedding that me ans my daughter will be taking the early shuttle back to the hotel for thr wedding, which was at 1015 so of course by that time my 1.5 year old was already tired, the shuttle did not show up at the venue.. So they called taxis. One problem. I had no carseat so I did not feel ok with my daughter going in the car.. We called then and let them know, they said one of the drivers will have a car seat, not only did not a single car have a car seat, The taxis didn't arrive at the venue for another 1.5 hours making it almost 12 by the time they got there.

The next day, we complained.. They said "we canceled the bus because there was only 2 people scheduled to take the bus Are you kidding me?!?

I had Dinner at the Ibiza restaurant. Was surprised at the breadth oof the menu. We were a group of 16 and were easily handle. Our food was wonderful and served as a group. The waitress was pleasant and did a great job.

I typically never stay at a hotel unless it is a big chain like courtyard or holiday inn etc, however I decided to give this one a shot to see if I can save a few dollars. I am very impressed, much better than the chain hotels I just mentioned and cheaper. I highly recommend it.

Went to Izba's Bistro downstairs for some european food. The food was great. Coming from a european family it reminded me of home. The service was quick and friendly. I've been here 3 times already and the experience was consistent. If you have Mobile Bandit you can usually get a deal and save yourself a few dollars. I recommend getting a deal and trying it out at least.

The service was the worst I have ever received at a hotel. To start off I booked 2 nights at $169 per night. When I checked in I gave the credit card I I tended to pay with and it was declined as I had left only enough for the room and forgot about the extra hold for incidentals. She went to pre authorize $450 I had $400. No problem, asked her to just preauthorize the $400 on there and the other $50 on my other card. When she handed me the machine for the second card it read $200. She stated she was supposed to charge $250 for incidentals even though she only attempted to pre auth $450 moments ago. After explaining the obvious she charged the $50 as originally planned. I booked a room on the East Wing as it was less expensive. I understood it had a door to the outside and was right on the Lougheed highway but was assured the soundproof window and door kept out the noise. This was important as I had a 2 and 4 year old with me. Well, I can tell you soundproof it is anything but! Every loud exhaust, horn, siren, noise from the train yard across the highway sounded as if it were right in the room. After an hour of my exhausted kids sobbing because it was too loud for them to sleep and begging for a quieter room I made my way to the front desk to request a change. They told me they were full and had nothing but a single King for over $200. Asked for a refund to go somewhere else because I was lied to about the soundproofing and my children needed to sleep. They of course declined. After repeated requests she called the manager who told her she could access their "online inventory" at which point the fully booked hotel had magically several rooms available. At a premium cost. I was offered a room with 2 queen beds and corridor access on the back of the hotel for $30 more, $199. I could have booked this same room online for $189 btw. Checked the room it was quiet, good. Requested to get the room at no additional charge because again, lied to about soundproofing and they couldn't even be bothered to do that. They were willing to lose my 2nd night of a room rate instead of discount the room that wouldn't have otherwise been occupied a mere $30 in the interest of customer service. I took the room at $199 cancelled my second night and booked 2 Queen beds at the Best Western in Maple Ridge for $95, well worth the 20 minute drive. Oh and they don't even give you breakfast for that $200. I would rather my family sleep in my truck than ever step foot in that hotel again in my life. Had no compassion for the poor kids who just wanted to sleep, no desire to make it right, just a chance to upgrade to a room at a premium cost. Room wasn't even worth that much I should add. Save the trouble, Best Western Inn and Convention Centre in Coquitlam, Ramada in Pitt Meadows, or Best Western in Maple Ridge. Worth the gas I promise.

We stayed the night here after my husband had surgery at eagle Ridge hospital. They were very accommodating of our needs. The room was very nice, and room service was quick, delicious , and reasonably priced. Would most definitely recommend this hotel.

I am being generous giving it three stars.

The night we arrived we couldn't get WiFi to work and the second TV wouldn't turn on. The cutlery drawer had debris and stains in it. They corrected everything next day, but still

We had a suite with an outside door. It was very gloomy inside with low ceilings and no ceiling lights. The bedroom was facing a tall wall which added to the gloom. Even with the curtains pulled back it was dark inside. Overall, rather a depressing environment.

So generally, a rather old-fashioned, gloomy, fairly well maintained facility.
