Recently moved and need to find a vet closer. We were so impressed with this place (everyone) when Riley's babies came for there 8 week checkup that we decided to now use this clinic (much closer for us now).

My family has been taking our dogs here for over 20 years. I don't think I would trust anyone or anywhere else with my dogs. Dr. Barkasy and his staff are absolutely wonderful and take only the very best care when treating pets, but they also help by educating owners.

Best vet in Surrey, we've had appointments with several different vets over the years and they are all top notch when dealing with animals and humans. I would recommend them to anyone.

They believe they are better than other vets and that makes it okay to OVER charge.. nope they should have more respect for people in need. 460.00 for a half hours work is criminal and vets should have laws against them that protect the public they prey on :'(

Awesome experience here. Our Boston Terrier needed CCL repair surgery and after hunting around the lower mainland for a reasonable price, we were recommended to try NAH. After consultation with Dr. Prostran we were given reasonable quotes for the two surgical options. He is an excellent, experienced vet and was very straightforward/transparent, which we appreciated. The staff and techs here are also top notch and very caring. You just get the vibe that everyone here is working for the love of the animals and not to make $$$ off expensive vet bills.

All the staff here are wonderful, and when my dog went from very healthy to a mystery illness overnight their genuine care and love of animals made me feel very at ease. Seems like everyone working here now knows my dog by name and she receives so much affection and treats it one of her favorite places to visit.

Very thorough with the exam. May have helped because the vet also owned a Boston terrier. The pup healed up very quickly with her suggestions

Great team of veterinary professionals. It is clear that they actually care about the pets in their care. They work with great skill and compassion. My family has been coming here for as long as I can remember, and I trust no other vet as highly when it comes to the health of my cats and dogs.

This is how a vet clinic that looks after your best family companion should be like.
For the sake of your animal's well being, do NOT go to Surrey Animal Hospital. Give the Newton Clinic a try and you'll see the difference in professionalism, cleanliness, atmosphere, and amount of care they provide. They are WORLDS apart.

Dr Prostran did amazing work on fixing a young pugs broken leg. It's been almost 2 years and the dog is still absolutely healthy and in great shape!
