Staff are amazing. They really care for your pet while it is there. Cat boarding rooms are large and unique.
Absolutely outstanding customer service. Staff were exceptionally friendly and attendant to my pup. Open late and very hospitable. Would recommend to anyone.
Took our Chihuahua's there for nail trimming and booster shots, the vet was awesome. Fast service and nice people. Try these guys, I think you'll love them as we do!!
We have 3 rescued dogs that we take to this animal hospital, and have been impressed every time, the Doctors take the time to explain things to me, care enough to make personal calls to us to see how our dogs are doing after seeing the Doctors.
The prices they charge are more then reasonable, we have been quoted much higher prices at other veterinary hospitals closer to home, we travel from Cloverdale to maple Ridge.
Grace, Otto, Roxy and now Franky the cat are happy and healthy, thanks to the Doctors and staff at Alouette Animal Hospital.
My cat was brought into the clinic initially on August 21st. She was put on Antibiotics and had a small incision and the lump drained. on August my cat returned to the clinic as the lump came back immediately after it was drained. My partner signed a form for them to "hospitalize her and to repair the wound". When handed the form was told "this is so we can keep her for the day". I was expecting that same procedure to take place that had taken place two days previously. However, no. I received a phone call stating that my cat was resting comfortably, to which I replied "what", then was told "the procedure went well and she is waking up" I again asked what they were talking about. At no time was I told that they were going to perform surgery on her, let alone consulted. The form signed gave them carte blanche to perform the surgery. The vague statement "hospitalization and repair the wound" provided them with the authorization to perform surgery. I will not be bringing any of my 3 fur babies back there. This was a cash grab. I can no longer trust this clinic. I found out that all that was needed was the antibiotics, which was what she was put on initially. She did not need the lump to be drained initially, as that is what caused it to come back the second time. The antibiotics would have cleared it up. So a $100.00 bill instead of $500 bill in the end. Not impressed. This was a cash grab.
My small dog got in a bad dog fight. I took him first to a nearby vet in Poco, and then had to transfer him to Langley Emergency for a night. At $1200 for that night at emergency, I simply could not afford to keep him there, so the vet told me there I should either consider transferring him or euthanizing him.
I then made the decision to transfer him to Allouette Animal Hospital, which is my home vet. I badly regret not taking him there immediately, instead of paying $1800 the first day alone at the two other places.
The staff at Allouette are unparalleled. The reception are friendly and knowlegable. The vets are caring and well trained. And the prices were DRAMATICALLY lower than the other two places I went.
One receptionist named Shannon took a liking to my dog, and would come in early, on her days off, and on her lunch break to cuddle my dog and take him outside in the sun.
I can't recommend this vet enough. I will not go anywhere else.
Wife took dog in for stubborn hot spots because our regular vet was busy.. was given rude service, mumbo jumbo, sneaky billing and prescriptions that we did not recommend worked that were more expensive. Went for followup after two weeks and disappointed that nothing they did for him cleared up or stopped itching when other visits to our usual vet never had a problem helping hots spots that were much worse than these hot spots. Got same usual unfriendly treatment to us and dog and told to try the medicine that we first recommended this time. Felt like all was cared about was the business not the animal, Ended up just leaving and giving that money to our usual vet. All around bad vibe, don't waste you time or money, but unfortunately now we know.
I love Alouette Animal Hospital. I wish I had discovered them years ago rather than going from one bad vet to another. I didn't believe there were any good vets out there until I took my dog here. The best care for my dog, not trying to rip anyone off by performing needless procedures. The vet assistants and techs are just wonderful too. I trust Dr. Orser completely, the best vet out there in my opinion.
Moved from the North Shore to Maple Ridge and worried about who would look after our furry friends. Alouette Animal Hospital is the best.
I feel "my kids" are in good hands with Dr Orser and his team of other veterinarians. The staff are very kind and show compassion and will assist you in anyway they can.

This vet was really great at first, but I came to the hospital to get my cat spade and weeks after her appointment she is still in pain. Alouette is not very credible or reliable, they're putting other living beings lives at risk with sloppy procedures and mediocre customer service.
The absolute best place for pets! The entire veterinary staff, doctors, assistants & receptionist are exceptional. I am so thankful for all their hard work & caring standards.
I could never take my pet anywhere else & they always accomadate in emergency situations!
Allouette Animal Hospital 10/10
Took my dog there to get neutered, because the place we adopted him from recommended them. The entire time we were there, they didn't ask at all about his puppy teeth, and they told us he had fleas, despite the fact that the other vets we've been to tell us he doesn't. We can't see any fleas on him, and since he's started his treatment his skin condition hasn't improved. The vets here didn't use dissolvable stitches, and when they brought him out he didn't have a cone on. They gave us a cone when we asked, but I was under the impression that after any major surgery a cone was part and parcel. Furthermore, after all this was said and done, they made us wait an hour to pay, which is fine, but after several red flags and a day at work, we were less than pleased. With regard to the flea treatment, I am fine with covering all the bases, and the process of elimination, but I would be far happier if they had been honest with us on that front, as opposed to simply saying "he has fleas." All in all, the service was relatively friendly, but due to the general feeling of unease I felt and the aforementioned issues, we will not be returning. We shall continue to take our dog to our usual vet in Mission, whom we've never had an issue with. All in all, a very sour experience.
My family has taken our pets to get check ups and surgeries. They have a great staff that help us right from registering to picking up our animal.
No that I am on own and I have a dog. I bring him to Alouette Vet Clinic. My dog is actually excited to go see his vet.
Nice, welcoming place to come with your pet. We have (had) 3 cats and most of the time it was very good, positive experience. Except one time when a doctor incorrectly inserted thermometer into our cat's rectum and after that she had pain for several days.
I would recommend this animal hospital - I think we could trust doctors' knowledge and skills there. And staff was very nice.
