My boyfriend and myself happen to stop at the Monte Carlo late one night for some rest before we hit the road again. Upon entering the room everything appeared to be neat and tidy. We settled and my boyfriend who was extremely tired from driving crashed. Once he was asleep I attempted to take a shower but was met with what looked like droplets of dried blood. Unable to wake my boyfriend I went down to the concierge myself to inform him of the issue and that I laid towels down to protect ourselves in the meantime. The gentleman there did offer to switch our room however I knew I’d be unable to wake my partner who sleeps heavily. I left all my concerns with him and went back to the room for the night. In the morning when it was about time to check out, still having a hard time waking my boyfriend I went to ask for our checkout to be extended by an hour. I also followed up with my complaint the night of to see what management had to say and was offered the extended hour free of charge as compensation for the dirty room that was given to us. I’ve stayed at inns before and have never stepped into a bathroom that evidently wasn’t cleaned. Counters/night table was sticky and dirty as well which I could easily over look but the blood was a shocker for me.

We got a suite it was clean and did not smell of smoke. It is great value for the price and location.

September 3rd 2017 5:30pm. I'm just about to check into my room and I'm still waiting outside. I've been outside for 45mins told to wait. I tried checking into my girlfriend's and my room but was not allowed even though i presented I'd, confirmation # , visa proof, 200 cash deposit and proof of the confirmation from my girlfriend to me. I have called two other locations regarding this policy that the lady is telling me and they assure me there is no such policy. I have a wedding in 30 mins and i have to wait in a parking lot. Rude and definitely not helpful. Never again!!!

Zero star if possible. I checked in around 11pm. I found a dirty underwear and the bridge was not working. I called the reception who came picked the dirty underwear that was setting on a chair and told me sorry that's all what I can do..he couldn't fix the fridge either.
I have never seen more disgusting place than this one. Just an advice for anyone who is thinking of renting a room in this place. Sleep in your car, you would probably be more comfortable than being in this place and you get to keep $160-$170

The hall ways shutters are open and I don't know if people smoked out side or smoke was coming through the open way the hall way was smelling. Fair price. Breakfast was just a joke, and served in a tiny room you kinda push around people to get things. Few bottles of water cld be useful in the rooms. Otherwise comfy bed and clean rooms, and the room attendant lady was wonderful. I might come back for a business trip but now family get away.

Me and couple buddies stayed here before going to a concert then crashing there after. Quiet place, right on Dunda St. The shops around it aren't the greatest, but for a location to relax before and after going down town, it was nice. Buddy at the desk was professional and pleasent to deal with. Rates are pretty decent for the rooms. Good value. Would stay again for sure if I attend another event in the area.

Tired. Temperature controls didn't work. Prostitute in the next room probably gave a better rating. Breakfast was horrible.

You get what you pay for, there is a reason this is the cheapest around Toronto. The room was clean, but very dated. The tv worked but I would not respond this place for a night away. This is a low budget cheap in and out free parking motel

Very run down. Breakfast is little pastries that leave you unfulfilled. The staff isn't friendly. Dont waste your money on the "suite" The fireplace was broken, the bed was uncomfortable, and the air conditioning/heating unit was on its way out. Housekeeping came in my room before 10am without knocking, literally just walked in while I was changing (checkout is at 11). The room smelled like an old musty closet. There was a constant tapping noise all night in the walls which made it hard to fall asleep. Stay somewhere else, this place is terrible.

Room was small but clean. Decor is very outdated and not pretty but the TV worked and the beds were comfortable. The room was very cold when we checked and we had to turn the heat on ourselves and wait a long time until the room for warmer. The heater is right beside the bed which means the person on that side is going to be too hot while the room is still warming up. That was the biggest inconvenience. Also there was no towel hangers by the sink which is placed outside of the shower. So every time you wash your hands you have to go back into the shower. Otherwise check in and check out was smooth and simple.

Morning staff is rude and have no manners. But it's a cozy place in the middle of everything 25 mins from downtown.
