Horrible customer service and no accountability. I received no call back after leaving a voicemail on the after hours emergency number. When I called the office the following day the receptionist did not listen to what I was trying to tell her, then hung up on me.

The only issue I have is with billing. I received a bill months after the services had been completed. Upon booking the appointment, I asked for services that were covered under my two health plans. And nothing more, if it was not covered. Nothing was communicated to me regarding plan coverage, etc. Once I called in to discuss the bill, they said there was no way of knowing what would be covered ahead of time. And that they only know once submitted. It would have been nice to have this information before my services were completed. Rather than receiving an "overdue" balance in the mail. I could have called my insurance to find out, if you did not have that information. But I would need that to be communicated to me.

One word: WOW!
I was in pain for a week, grumpy and anxious about other dentists in the city, Dr. Mamer and his assistants took me in stride and helped me pull a tooth another dentist didn't do well on. Reception staff are also super sweet and love interacting with people. I can tell this place is good to it's employees when everyone is so happy. I had quite a bit of restoration work done here recently.
They are willing to work with you so you are able to get the dental work needed. It's quality work (my fillings are insured for a year.)
The hygienists are all extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Mamer & Kathryn are the ones who completed the work for me and saved some pretty important teeth. Dental Therapist Brenda, who sees my daughter, helped me understand how my specific bacteria works in the mouth and how it's hereditary. I am really appreciative of this because now I can make sure my daughter receive's the preventative dental care needed so her teeth have a better chance than mine did. Thank you for seeing me as a patient, being honest about what was being done, and allowing me to get a lot of needed work to save my front teeth.response / report this review -

I went today as the clinic participated in the Day of Giving program providing basic dental services to those who do not have dental care. Dr. Reynaud quickly diagnosed a cavity and prepared me for work, Dr Rayner did the filling. Both were super caring and efficient. I also had a cleaning. Well done. Thank you for participating in this program to offer this one day of free service. I appreciate what I received and the spirit of community service. Glad I am also a neighbour.

I went for a check up. Had no pain. They suggested doing some work proactively. I allowed them to do it. When the freezing wore off I had the most intense tooth ache and sensitivity for 2-3 weeks afterwards. While injecting the freezing she was multitasking. She reached over my head with her opposite arm to do something else with her tools. I was not impressed.
This last visit I had my 5 yr old daughter in to get some fillings. The dentist was very impatient. And not comforting for my daughter at all. She kept saying she was staying thro her lunch break to do this and was very obviously in a hurry and not acting patient at all. The things she was saying were not any way to convince a child to cooperate. I will never go back to this clinic again. Nor will I ever bring my daughter back again. Absolutely brutal service, in my opinion.response / report this review -

Worst place to go for a dental work, they will put most effort to make maximum money, overcharge and double bill and won’t even listen to you if you complain.

Had a good experience here. They have really good hours and I was impressed with how quickly thy got me in for an evening appointment. The receptionist, hygienists, and assistants were all really nice. Did get a bit of a cold vibe from the dentist himself though.

I went to Dr. Maedel and the experience was the best you can have as far as going to the dentist goes! She was very profession, concise and willing to go take the time with her patient. I would recommend her to anyone!

Recently began dealing with Dr. Maedel at Kenderdine dental and she is fantastic. Have had basic dental work done by her such as cavities and check ups and also did Invisalign treatment with her. She is very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her.

We travelled from Calgary to get dental work done from Brenda for our 5 yr old son. He was terrified of dentists but once he was done he was looking forward to his next visit at Kenderdine dental. The front staff is amazing! Simmone is the most helpful, knowledgeable and friendly receptionist around. Best dental office in town!!
