Nice store location in the downtown core big store. Don’t like how men clothing is on the top floor have to go all the way throw women’s and appliances bed and bath. But the staff are very nice and help full will come back and shop there . Nice top shop in the basement. Some windows have not been clean in some time so the view of the city is not that nice .

Barely any staff around, and the ones you find on the lower floors are very rude and some refuse to process purchases. Was told twice on different days the store was closed, but it was 15 minutes before 9pm. To be fair some staff is super nice though (if you can find someone willing to help) Some people work during the day, so I guess I'll just shop elsewhere with better service

Awesome heritage building. Company with lots of history. HBC has waged a comeback over the years, renovating the downtown Vancouver location. Product selection is a good as can be given the current Internet shopping boom.

Nice selection of goods at different price points. Generally welcoming decor and helpful staff. Good sales. Good value. Adjoining skytrain and right on Granville for convenience without a car. Some parking nearby on Seymour side on straight or in lots. Nespresso coffee boutique. Cafe on lower and higher levels.

Amazing location with 6 floors full of everything. They have a great variety of everything but they are expensive. You may find them in the other stores but everything in the same place is just here.

I've had amazing service here, returning several times to make minor adjustments to a suit at no extra cost. This location is definitely beginning to show it's age. A little pricey, but the selection and service more than make up for that.

Hudson's Bay is the essence of Canada. They have just about everything you could need in an attractive setting. Courteous sales people, sometimes a little hard to find though. Look for the people dressed in black.

Boys and men need to check out Level 6. It is a hidden gem where you can always find your favourite designer brands at heavily discounted prices. It takes a bit of digging around but the savings are definitely worthwhile. One of my go-to places to shop and not leave bankrupt.

Went in here to find a french press for coffee. It's organized so that each brand gets its own section. Therefore you have to wander around and look for where they keep the same item for each brand to compare.

The only honest, attentive staffer is an older woman at the Chanel counter. The rest of the staff I approached or encountered were inattentive, distracted by their cellphone or co-worker, dismissive or useless. They didn't know their merchandise and didn't offer to make inquires. I left my phone number about items and never heard back. Security harassed a potential shoplifter. A staff told security it's a frequent shopper but that didn't stop a woman from uncomfortably sticking to the customer. I strongly suspect racism.

I'm from the US, so I have an inexplicable attraction to the striped Hudson Bay Blankets. If you go to the sub basement, there's a whole little shop filled with striped things, so that's fun. You can even get out with a pair of striped socks or a tote bag for under $20, otherwise, of course, the wool blankets and coats are pricey. As for the rest of the store it's classic yet disappointing--both somewhat run-down and expensive. The highlights are the high-end shops which have some beautiful things at staggering prices. It's time for The Bay to up their game rather than trying to buy Macy's!

Surprisingly the experience and the previous image of "The Bay" I used to have are all gone. They have really good selections and great deals from time to time with quality products. In addition to buying Boss clothing, I had requested for my Ted Baker pants to be hemmed, and they did a fantastic and prompt job of it - really impressed.
