Greeted with a "How are you dear" by Corina(Owner) tried the Kanga & Mash and for dessert Pavlova(Meringue topped with whipped cream,strawberries & kiwi fruit) this place has excellent service with very friendly staff,don't forget to say hello to Corina she an absolute sweetheart

The bar is a little hidden so it's easy to miss but it can also be less busy then! Cozy atmosphere and typical bar food at average prices but they have pretty good drink prices/specials. And Karaoke 👍

Cozy and low key pub. Standard pub fare. My burger arrived fast and was pretty good. Salad was a little sad. Prices were reasonable and service was fine. Sports to watch on TV. In a basement.

Best tuna melt! Popped in looking for their acclaimed tuna melt and wasn't disappointed: old school toast with a tone of juicy tuna and fries. Lived up to their reputation!

One of the few casual pubs left, with good food and friendly staff. Too many of these types of places are disappearing to become remodeled big-box semi-upscale restaurants.

The burgers here are great. Fresh meat, well cooked, good toppings, good prices.

Beer selection is also solid.

Great for larger groups. They take reservations and tend to not be crazy busy.

They have a massive chicken parmesan eating challenge here that I expect to attempt one day

One of my favorite bars in the city!!! Totally recommend to go there, have a few beers and try their food. Special mention to Corina and her very friendly staff, they will make you feel welcome.

Authentic Aussie style pub! Trivia nights are the hot evening here, but good games of footy also draw pretty big crowds. Very fun and friendly staff with a great vibe. Can be a little difficult to locate at first as it's downstairs. Food isn't great but where else can you get a proper chicken parma?!

Fantastic customer service, our waitress was Australian as well. Food was good and very well priced. I'm not really used to great customer service in this city. It was nice to see.

Had the worst 36 hours on record but upon finding this fantastic establishment our evening and daresay our Vancouver trip was salvaged!

Let me start off by saying I absolutely love this pub and almost every time I come in I have a fantastic experience.

However, under no circumstances can you rely on a reservation there (even if you already have one placed). There is about a 90% chance staff will claim that the pub is closed for a private function on any given date (has happened to me at least 6 times now) and even if you manage to make a reservation, there's a good chance they will cancel it on you (I had made a reservation for Easter weekend 4 weeks in advance, only to get a call 2 weeks later with them telling me they are closed the whole weekend.)

TL;DR great food, great beer, decent servers, management needs to get their heads out of their asses.

Pretty decent little bar! Food is good, portions are huge. Service was good, and I went on a trivia night so was not expecting a lot. Will likely check it out on a regular night to be sure

Having walked passed this place a thousand times and not noticing that it's downstairs a friend finally recommends coming here to grab drinks. What a good call that was. Pretty friendly place if you ask me, the server asked ours names when we ordered our drinks. I had the Mango Class and it was quite flavorful, I'll definitely be trying other cocktails. Food wise is definitely interesting they have Kangaroo on the menu!! What a experience that was, the texture was like beef but much more dry and it defiantly had a noticeable sour taste to it possibly due to the rosemary. One other thing that peeked my interest is they have a food challenge which is to finish a 1lb of parmie (giant chicken Parmesan) with fries in 45 minutes and it's free. Definitely an interesting place to visit. Just a heads up though, they do have live music so it can get a bit loud.
