A good venue, the stage is ground level and there’s lots a space on the floor. Even a few seats if you’d rather a sit down, oh and a bar at the back. All you need in a music venue.

The sound is typically pretty good for a venue of this size and the bands that come are amazing. In the summer it gets incredibly hot though, they don’t have AC or sufficient ventilation. Beers are alright.

    Cover: $10-$15
    Minimum Beer price $6

This place is really famous because many bands from Canada and around the world take a place there to perform there.

I definitely like the distribution of the place and the sound. It´s so balance. I remember when I went to the Middle Kids concert and I did hear this as I was listening music on Spotify.

The bar is really cool. There's always cute and sexy girls there. You hace so much fun talking with them even if is just for a while. At the same time, you have many beer and cocktail options that you can enjoy.

At the entrance, normally people don't have any troubles. You can leave your Jacket at the entrance. Now, remember, if you want to leave, don't forget go back to the entrance (right upstairs) to find your clothes or bag.

    Cheers :)

Great intimate venue. Sound is good. Drinks are reasonably priced. Stage is cute a classic feeling but the low ceilings and flat layout makes it pretty hard to see if you're not right up front. Of course would go again if the band is right. Saw Hey! Ocean.

Never had a bad time here. They have some cool events and concerts here, so just keep your eye out. The venue is some what under ground and its dark. Great place for a group of friends!

A fun place to see live music or a burlesque show. They get great and unique acts to perform there and tickets are usually pretty inexpensive.

Neat place, tucked away in an unassuming location. I saw VNV Nation here on the fourteenth of August, and was met by friendly security and staff.

Place was mostly clean, ample room for standing or dancing.

    Would definitely return.

Great place to catch a show. Lots of room to dance and also plenty of seating areas. Free help yourself water station to the left of the bar. 👍

Fantastic sound for a small place. The audio engineers need a raise! Nice venue all in all for intimate concerts or for a night out.

It's a fairly small venue. I was surprised how well the the sound was done for a rock concert I attended. Good local craft beer selection.

I came here to see some live music (which was fantastic). The place was packed. It was very difficult to see the band. People were climbing on benches to see over each other's heads. The heat and humidity were not unbearable but definitely uncomfortable. When it was time to leave, the enormous crowd (possibly too enormous for the venue) squeezed out through a single-width back door (the exit had two doors, but one door was locked) while people were turned away from the front door where thay had come in by security staff. If there had been a fire (not unheard of at concerts in basement bars), I worry that it might have had tragic results. I will avoid the Biltmore in the future.

Great venue for indie shows and a fun night out away from the Granville strip. This place never really disappoints on a Friday or Saturday night - especially if you go with friends. Not the best drink options (limited tap selections and bare bones mixed drinks), but I still love hanging out here.

I love this venue because it's always fun, inexpensive, and hosts fantastic shows. That being said, it can get so damn hot down there that it's almost unbearable. Be warned - you're going to get hot down there.
