Location is great. It's a 15 minute walk from Harbor Front, CN Tower and Eaton Center. The hotel has a nice swimming pool with a good view of the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The parking elevator is undergoing renovation so you will have to walk out of the basement parking lot to enter the hotel. The gym has everything you need the only complaint I have is that the Jacuzzi need cleaning because the walls smells like sweat. Other than that had a great experience at the hotel.

No room service. No robes. No top sheet on the bed. No hand lotion. No mini bar. Uncomfortable bed. Slow wifi. Dated rooms. Dark. Lighting makes a high pitched ringing sound. This place is a dump.

Need was rock hard. Pillows are more like throw cushions. Room was clean and well tended. Bathroom clean. Staff friendly. Restaurant was good. They billed for an upgrade I never received and so far have not responded to my calls or emails to fix the situation.

Overall great location, not far from Union station, clean area, close to many great restaurants. Room is clean and spacious, but misses a few items/details other big chains like the Marriott have ie moisturizer, glass cups in room vs cheaper plastic disposable, less pillows. Overall comfortable Hotel though.

This is a fabulous hotel! Great location and dog friendly. We had to be in Toronto to consult with a surgeon and needed a place that accepted our rather large but sweet and well-trained labrador. The hotel was extremely well located (I went for a great run along the waterfront not far from the hotel) and the service is some of the best I have ever experienced (very helpful when we discovered we forgot our tooth brushes and needed some paper clips at 11:00 pm!). The food in the restaurant is also delicious and they had Vegan options!! Wow! There is a little food/general store right beside the hotel - very convenient if you need a banana, cookies or things you may have forgotten (like hair spray and gel!). The place is very clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent. We will definitely stay here whenever we need a place in Toronto!

Great location! Walking distance to all the best downtown attractions. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Lobby is very nice and looks to be recently updated. The room I stayed in is starting to look a bit dated and sould be freshened up to me more modern looking like the lobby.

Great honest service. Minor scuffs on walls and some cracked floor tiles, but the rooms are still safe, clean, and comfortable. Pool gym and hot tub are all in great working order, havnt tried the sauna yet. Am very satisfied with my online booking. One nights free WiFi was included, $10 for each additional night, or for the first night if you want high speed connection.

Space in the parking garage was available for a fee of course but I took public transportation and didn't need it.

Pleasant enough staff, but definitely an older, not very updated hotel. Was disappointed to find one of my towels greeting me on the floor of the bathroom. Couple that with soap residue from the previous guest in the soapdish of the shower, and a few spots of mildew on the caulk and it is clear that attention to detail and a general caring is not very high on their list. Also I had a super nice and helpful gentleman serve me in their hotel restaurant the day I came in, near closing. Great guy, very poor food. Low end hotel food. I ended up with 3 stars given some positive staff experiences, else I'd be at 2 stars. I'm relatively unlikely to return to this property in the future.

Whoever said comfy beds, must have slept off a hangover. I stay in 300 room a year and this by far is highly over rated. 70's decor and furniture out dated. Very uncomfortable room and the bed is like a piece of old spring mattress. No wall plugs unless you pull the bed out and use the power strip being the head. The bathroom towels are small and old. Like something that would be in a $30 motel room. The rooms smell like smoke and mold. Several complaints from the other 20 rooms my team has booked here for two days. I hung my Do not disturb sign and would ya know while I was sleeping in the day because I work at night they called me to ask if I needed room service. Hello, if the sign is on the door that should tell ya I don't need a thing and I will ask. The carpet is very dirt cause my feet to get dirty right after a shower. To telling when it was shampooed last. I hope to never stay here again. The staff when told about the problems just shrugged their shoulders and acted like they were dumb founded. Yeah they were, as this hotel plainly shows they don't care.

Very nice hotel. Walking distance from air Canada center. Parking is at the hotel or beside it. Great buffet breakfast. Clean rooms. Great service.

Nice hotel overall. Our room (314) was probably the worst view you can get but we were not in the room long and we don't complain about much. A few flaws in the room but not worth complaining about. The gym was decent and had enough equipment to get a morning workout in. We did not eat there but asked about it and seemed expensive. Parking is pricey from the front desk, you can do your own research and get a better deal. We stayed here because it was close to the ACC and downtown, the price was reasonable from a booking website. Overall I would stay here again for the same reason.

Amazing stay! The staff is lovely and helpful, the breakfast was filling and delicious, the room is huge and comfortable (6th floor) hotel has training room and pool! (I didn't try but wow!) long spacious corridors. Well located, restaurants all around! Easy to go out and explore the neighbourhood without getting lost.

I attended a 1-day professional event at the Provence meeting room. The room was clean, spacious, and suitable for the event. The food selection for breakfast, snacks, and lunch were great. The selection was good and everything served was of good quality. The service was great too! My only complaint is minor but could definitely be improved (since it was the same when I went for a 3-day training at the adjacent meeting room a month ago). The faucet water in the womens washroom was ice cold! Otherwise, a great experience altogether for both visits! I would definitely look forward to visiting Novotel again!

Hotel is in a great location to walk to downtown cultural and sporting events. Many nearby pubs and restaurants also. Rooms are clean and we'll kept. Staff is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Restaurant is very good. Have stayed here before and will again.
