Great room service. Great location. Connected restaurant is reasonably priced and tastes great.
Went here for my anniversary weekend, left leaving very disappointed. Our room was "upgraded" yet it was small and unwelncoming. Dust was throughout the room and under the bed. The light sockets weren't even in the wall, they were hanging out. There was duct tape on the cabinets to hold them in place. Only reason it got two stars was for location and staff. The staff were polite and friendly.
Hotel is well located and very convenient for business visitors. However, walls are paper thin which means that even on the 19th floor, the noise of the street was so loud in my bedroom that even earplugs would not cover it, and I was incapable of sleeping for the three nights I was there. Black-out curtains would be a minimum to have. Bed sheets were extremely rough, to the point that I got a rash from tossing and turning. Will not stay there again.
Was very comfortable. The rooms were well kept and uniquely laid out. Staff were helpful and friendly. I did not personally enjoy breakfast at the in hotel restaurant. It is a relatively simple meal and it was poorly executed. The staff are great though and other meals may be better.
Convenient location, large suites, grill makes good food, and building feels safe and small. Prices affordable as well. I wish the bedding was nicer, however. Overall: I've really enjoyed my stay!
We ate at Wildfire Steakhouse. It was wonderful as usual. They have incredible service, amazing food, great wine and beer selection. And treated us to an amazing birthday surprise of truffles and prosecco.
It is not bad but is lacking in what is now a very competitive market. There are lots of places that are newer and all round more polished. Having said this the place is okay to spend a few nights or a weekend. I stay here often. Some of the rooms are better than others.
The room was clean and it's a great location in Toronto. The room had a balcony, and overall felt more like a condo than a hotel room. The valet parking was full, but we were able to park at an impark close by for cheaper. Our package came with breakfast the next morning at the hotel's restaurant. We upgraded our breakfast and paid the difference. The food was amazing, and they gave me free orange juice since I didn't want coffee or tea (covered in the package). I would definitely stay there again if I get the chance.
Hotel is nice and clean with amazing views of the city 5 suites for a floor 27 floors in total. Your suite is pure luxury it feels like my very own unit with modern decor and furniture My suite included a euro kitchen with all 5 essential appliances The suite comes equipped with washing machine and dryer and a safe
We loved our room. It had a nice kitchen and small balcony, however there wasn't much of a view. We enjoyed the large windows and shower. The staff was helpful and the valet was nice since we didn't have to worry about parking. We also enjoyed the bar at the restaurant off the lobby. Tons of restaurants and things to do nearby.
Very cozy hotel with full suites; kitchen, living room and bedroom. Short walk from the Eaton Centre and many other destinations. Restaurant/bar in the hotel has great food, also. This is my preferred hotel when visiting YYZ!
The location was great and the suite was large and we'll equipped. The heating was not efficient. The bedroom was an oven while the guests in the living room on the sofa bed were cold. There was construction outside, new apartment build, which began at 7am and it was so loud we couldn't sleep. The staff was friendly and quick to fill our request for a cot in the room. I would only stay again if I was given a room opposite the construction site to the east.
The location of this hotel is great, about a five minute walk from Union Station and another 8 from Dundas Square. Takes about 10 minutes to get to the Entertainment district by foot and very close to the St. Lawrence market.
The rooms are nice, nothing fancy, was clean but could probably use a really good scrub in the bathroom in the cracks and crevices with a steamer, as even with cleaning you can start to see age. Our toilet never stopped running the entire time we were there (2 nights). Didn't mention it to staff but lived with it (sound was constant so found it soothing like a sound machine), I doubt it would have been fixed while we were there.
The hotel only has two elevators and one was already broken when we arrived and stayed that way the entire time. Didn't appear as if it was be worked on either, so sometimes the elevator was packed and or you waited a while, especially if you were on a higher floor.
All the staff we interacted with (front, cleaning) was pleasant and helpful. Overall the hotels location is great, the staff was warm and friendly, rooms were warm and cozy (again a good clean in the bathroom might be due), would probably stay again but maybe at a lower price point. Think it might be pushing it if it wants to maintain a 4 star. As I've stayed at One King West which is across the street and it truly was a 4 star.
