Called to get information on teeth cleaning for my dog. The girl I talked to was short and would not give me any kind of basic idea of costs at all just saying I needed to bring my dog in .I was not looking for a quote just a general idea of various costs. Would not go to this hospital just based on the rudeness of the receptionist. Many other places to spend money on my dogs teeth . Note to the hospital as I dont have a regular vet and would have had the potential to be a regular client. I would strongly recommend customer service training for your receptionist. If she is too busy to answer questions dont answer the phone.

Very expensive! Extremely slow service and long wait times which can make your animal anxious. Poor customer service and communication for renewel of vaccinations. We will not go back.

I have only had bad experiences at this vet. I had a doctor who was very rude and judgmental towards me and my pitbull who is excited but a very much loved dog and they neglected to give me proper instruction to not feed my dog after 6pm before surgery so I lost a days pay and had to re book another day off work. I will be searching for a different vet.

I will never go back.
The initial care was fine, expensive but fine. But the post-care is what has turned me off this place for good. We were called repeatedly to do a series of follow up tests. These follow up tests were going to be expensive (something we had discussed with the vet at the initial visit.), and given that the cat had responded well to the initial treatment we decided against the added expense. Several months later (and the cat as healthy as could be at this point) I called the vet to get a sedative for our cat, to calm her for a trip up the Coast. We were informed they still wanted to see the cat for the follow-up care, and wouldn't be able to get us the sedative until after this appointment and tests. Obviously I refused.
I called our Vet in Vancouver to double check, and they said it was absolutely not necessary, the two issues were entirely separate. I t would warn others from using this service.response / report this review -

Been bringing our pets to see Dr. O'Brien here for at least a decade. They've always treated our pets well and have helped us through some very difficult times. Great staff, good hours and location.

All the staff i encountered were very friendly and helpful. They took very good care of my cat during a resent visit. After care and follow up was great.
The office wasn't all that pretty to look at but thats what happens after a flood. Im sure they will have it looking amazing in no time.response / report this review -

Exceptional care, compassion and empathy for animals. I made a very difficult decision yesterday to say goodbye to a very good friend and the staff was more than accommodating to the situation. Every detail and every option was gone over allowing me to make an informed and proper decision. He passed peacefully and without pain, his suffering ended as hard as it was to say goodbye. Dr. Armstrong was more than amazing and I can't thank her enough.

the staff and service was fine, but having a dispute about the charges the lady at the desk raises her hand and shouts out "EVERYONE HERE IS A WITNESS, HE REFUSES TO PICK UP HIS CATS REMAINS" and when i ask why would she be so rude and shout out like that, she said it was a "legal matter". it doesnt matter whats going on, that is extremely unprofessional and could never recommend a place like thatmy2cents

There are so many vet clinics around my place, but we keep coming back to Scottsdale vet hospital. The staff and the vets are always amazing, caring and patient!
