First at check in on friday night around 8pm the attendant told us he didn't want to be there but at least he only had 1 hour left to his shift.
Second the lights in the room were unplug.
Third we called for room service to order breakfast at 9:30am no one answered the phone so we had to leave a message with our name and room #. By 10:30 we decided to go get our own breakfast. When we got to the lobby the 3 attendants were no busy and they were all just doing thing on the computer. The little breakfast restaurant was empty and the cashier was flirting with the cleaning lady. Anyway we went to Tim Hortons one block away for breakfast.

Stayed overnight at the hotel with family in a suite. Location was close enough to the outlet mall, with a LCBO nearby. Staff were very friendly, rooms clean. Sauna, pool and tub open until 10 pm. Bar area serves starbucks coffee. Happy with our stay.

We stayed here years ago and came back for a wedding . The view at night is immaculate. Service was outstanding . Friendly and warm welcomes.
The room was moderate and clean. Bed was comfy and everyone was friendly.
Housekeeping was amazing . The young lady that came to clean my room was nice enough to help me wrap a gift . She did it with a smile and a big no problem , even though it wasn’t her job , I appreciated how she took the time to do this and go out of her way and be so generous .
Over all great experience and can’t wait to come back again this summer ..

I had a work Xmas party here. The service and food was absolutely great! The room was clean and everything was very nicely laid out and stocked. I can't comment to the prices as it was paid but definitely a great experience!

Beautiful hotel. Nice personnel. Decent breakfast and spacious rooms. We were on the honours floor and therefor had an complimentary breakfast.

DoubleTree Fallsview is an awesome place to get a sound sleep at night. The room I stayed in was clean and beds comfortable. Has a Starbucks in the lobby along with a spa store. There is also a Buchanan on the second floor. Great place to spend the night and super close to the falls.

Good location; US Falls view rooms aren't worth the amount they charge
You're charged $15+tax per day on site parkingbut it's at your own risk.
Warm cookies at checkin are nice!
Overall an 'Okay' experience because for that amount a Canada Falls view room can be booked at another location.

The hotel is a bit far from the falls comparing to other 4 stars around. So the view is not so superb. This is probably the only issue. The room is great. Especially the bed is so comfy. Very clean. The service is on par.

Spent 3 nights here in a double suite. Beds extremely comfy and rooms outfitted well. Staff friendly. Breakfast and overnight parking are not free which took me by surprise - but both were worth the extra money. The only major downside was two elevators for 19 floors (100+ and rooms). Some mornings I had to wait 5-10 minutes to use the elevator. Try to get a low floor so you can use the stairs. Overall good experience.

We travelled a long way to get to this hotel and when we get to the front desk they tell us we have to be 21 to check in and they immediately cancelled our reservation, putting us on the streets. Thankfully we walked right over to the Ramada across the street and they had no problem taking us in for a room then and there. The legal age in Canada to book a room in a hotel is 18 but the doubletree's policy says 21, however I was never informed of this and never saw it online. Additionally when I called in advance to change my credit card info the representative was VERY rude to me.

Easy check in process, complete with a helping of cookies. Rooms were well kept and as expected for the hotel rating. In between Clifton Hill and Fallsview Casino, which worked well for us.

Good location. Most attractions are walkable from hotel. Had one of the lowest parking fees out of any of the hotels. Clean rooms.
Nice pool area. Friendly staff. Do a king whirlpool falls view room.

Really posh place. Small pool, but it's a very clean, elegant pool. The tiles surrounding the pool were heated. The rooms were clean, there's a Starbucks in the lobby as well! The entrance and lobby are very well decorated and laid out. My wife loved it here. We'll definitely come back without the kids!

Booked this DoubleTree in Niagara Falls for New Year's Eve 2017. Check in was painless and the delicious cookies were a pleasant bonus. Roll away bed and parking charges were already explained on the Expedia site prior to booking so that was expected. We arrived early but DoubleTree still allowed an early check-in which was nice. Room was very clean although we did find some garbage here and there like beer bottle caps hidden in the corners. Room also featured a fridge with nice comfy beds. Unfortunately the walls seem thin as we overheard the neighboring rooms so earplugs are strongly recommended if you're a light sleeper. The excellent location made it easy to walk everywhere but we did drive at times. Only feedback would be for the parking. On super busy nights like New Year's Eve, if you have guests taking up more than one parking spot with their one vehicle throughout the day, it makes it hard to find parking. Sadly, this probably puts the hotel in a tough predicament as they probably don't want to upset the guests who were taking up multiple parking spots. Fortunately the hotel's friendly parking guards helped us find a spot at night time. Overall, would still recommend if you're in the area due to great staff, value and location.
