Lovely room but the downsides stack up - breakfast was just terrible (how do you mess up scrambled eggs? Had the consistency of a wet sponge and remarkably tasted like absolutely nothing at all), 60$ parking off-site, and paying for WiFi in this day and age is just barbaric. The view in our room (which was a view of the Canadian Falls) was nice, though you could only see it from about half of the bed or if you were pressing your nose against the glass - otherwise you were staring out at the side of a hotel. Bed was really comfortable though. All in all, won't be staying there again. Better options for what you pay.
Best place to stay in the falls. Great views, service and amenities. After numerous visits to the falls and staying in various hotels in the tourist area we have found the Embassy to be the best by far. The pool area is excellent, kept warm and comfortable year round. The kids love it!
Stayed here with my family in May of 2015. I'd say this hotel has the best views of the falls of any hotel on the Canada side. Check in was a breeze and they upgraded us to a premium falls view room. The room was clean and spacious. Plenty of towels and pillows provided which always seems to be an issue with some hotels. The hotel had a FANTASTIC breakfast buffet which we loved. Where else can you enjoy a breakfast buffet overlooking one of the great wonders of the world. Get there early as it gets crowded pretty quick. The hotel also has other restaurants inside of it and walking distance to many others.
The hotel was in a perfect location. Its connected to the incline railway which gets you to the falls without walking down steps or a steep roadway. Its also a quick walk to some of the action all tourist must see.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
This place is amazing! I got a premium room with views of the American and Canadian falls and looking out the window was always a wonder. It's definitely worth the extra $$. The front desk and tour help/concierge were friendly and helpful. The surrounding area has plenty to do, great places to eat, and is in walking distance of pretty much anything you want to do at the Falls. Also, the incline rail is right behind the hotel which takes you right to the visitor centre and Horseshoe Falls. The free breakfast is good, but get there early because the lines get long. I love the 4 to 6 PM happy hour with snacks and you get 2 coupons for free drinks (w/ alcohol). Other drinks are already free. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Niagara Falls, which will definitely happen.
Rooms and amenities and free breakfasts and drinks were great.. Maryanne at the front desk was able to find us a room with a tub about a minute and a half after we were just told by another worker that there wasn't one.. coincidence? I don't think so.. I believe the other worker is either less trained or potentially did not feel like assuring that we had every opportunity to have the best experience possible.. overall we had a great time and a hotel room is a hotel room we were barely there
Great room and views (you must take view towards the falls), really enjoyed our 2 night stay there for that reason alone. What I didn't like is that they overcharge for many things and I kind of got a feeling of being ripped off after getting the final bill. Parking was 60 Canadian dollars for day, where I at least would expect them to bring the car back to you, plus I really thought it's for the whole stay and not for day. Internet in the room is not free, plus various other taxes of which I had no idea up front. I could have found out all of this on my own I guess, but I would expect more transparency on hotel's end. Breakfast was also sub-par.
The presidential suites (rooms xx11) feature the best possible views on both - US & Canadian - falls of any hotel at Niagara Falls. The rooms were ultra-clean and in mint condition. We loved the jacuzzi. All staff is very kind, the room service was exceptional - lighting fast and just perfect. The premium upgrade at breakfast offers you great food combined with a stunning view - the best start for a great day. The hotel offers amazing private tours: you don't waste time for buying various tickets, parking and waiting in public lines, but have a truly dedicated guide giving you the best possible experience you can truly have. Our tour guide Lew (Elite Tours of Niagara) was honestly the best - what a knowledgeable, entertaining and truly caring person!! Thanks to this hotel and tour we had a blast at Niagara Falls!! Thank you so much!
I came here 3 weeks ago, and I can say I actually really loved it and I miss it. I stayed with my family for 3 nights and everything was so so nice. We had a view of the falls which was beautiful, the breakfast was amazing, it tasted so good (the view at breakfast was amazing too). I think this hotel is not at all expensive for families. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits the falls.
We had the Presidential Suite. The view from our room, of the falls, was magnificent. The two room suite had a king size bed and a pull out couch. We even had a massage chair and a Jacuzzi! The windows were floor to ceiling in both rooms. The room was clean and comfortable. The Keg Restaurant and Bar had wonderful food, not to mention the spectacular views of Niagara Falls. I'm definitely going back some day, and when I do, I'll be staying there again.
One of the easiest hotels to find as it towers over the rest of the scenery for the most part. Valet was courteous, check in was mostly painless, and amenities are in abundance. Every employee I've interacted with has been more than friendly and helpful. The view from our room was breathtaking, and will definitely stay here again.
The place looks nice and clean. I would have been able to write about the beautiful view of falls and how this hotel has the best view angle from all the other. But I CAN'T. They screwed up our reservation that we made 2 months in advance. I ended up in a room with only one bed when we had book a double bed room As it was 4 of us staying in the room. The room was a city view room. if looking at the highway is considered the city then we had the best city view possible. Their excuse for this was a glitch in the system. So free parking a 60.00 (Canadian money) value was what we received. Oh they said they will fix it tomorrow. But my daughter surprise visit to Canada for her 15 birthday that HILTON staff ruined that is priceless. THANK YOU HILTON AND YOUR STAFF FOR RUINING MY DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY (SARCASM)
Edit: the room came with NO bath towels.
I had an excellent stay starting with Alina at the front desk and her awesome display of guest services. I explained I had never been to the falls and I was there for just a quick night's rest on a business trip. Lo and behold, my room had a magnificent view of the falls. It was a treat beyond all expectation. The bed was a marshmallow dream, and the gigantic suite was clean and thoughtful. I made friends with a woman and her charming daughter at the Keg on the 9th floor, and had an excellent meal. I booked the room from my car for a place to sleep and ended up on a 10 hour vacation! Thank you, Embassy Suites!
I can't say enough in the way of compliments about the staff at Embassy Suites, Niagara Falls. I took my 85 year old father overnight last weekend and all the staff were gracious and so very helpful to him in getting around. Polite and kind-hearted, especially in food service. Thank you so much for assisting him when he couldn't stand any longer. Kudos and more to the staff at ES, by the way, the room was fantastic too, super clean, quiet, and fluffy pillows!
This newly renovated hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are very spacious. And the view of the falls can not be beat! The staff are very friendly and the rooms were clean. The only thing that caught me off guard was that their parking cost was $35. And it isn't on site, you have to take a shuttle to pick up your car. Other than that surprise, or stay was one of the best that we had in a long time. We would stay there again.
