I have been going here for years and all of the staff are awesome people and great at what they do. They even humored me when I was going through my mullet/pandemic phase and made me look as good as possible haha. A lovely experience on Mondays and Tuesdays with Danielle and Martin. Would recommend to anyone that has felt rushed through by their barbers in the past!

Danielle gives top quality haircuts along with an impressive quality interaction with her customers, allowing you to relax and enjoy the experience rather than feel like it is a chore to get your hair cut.

I get my hair cut by Danielle every 3 weeks or so. I always have an excellent experience. She does a great job and has a lovely disposition and always makes me laugh. I recommend her to anyone I know looking for a barber. She’s great with clippers too.

Everyone at Cook Street Barbers is awesome. I've been to many other barbers and stylists in town and Cook Street Barbers is the most reliable, cost effective, and friendly bunch. Sometimes you may have to wait for 15-20 min during busy periods, but I find going around 3-4pm you rarely have to wait. Ask for Rolf. (Also heads up, they're on View Street now, not Cook Street)

Just walked out of this barbershop with the best cut I’ve had in years! Rolf was great at maintaining cleanliness especially with the pandemic going on. He was quick, very detail oriented and great at making conversation! Safe to say you can get a great cut here for cheaper than most other barber shops in Victoria. I would recommend Cook St. Barbershop to anyone!

Great place. I’ve used Mike a couple times. I’m really particular and he has always put done himself.
They don’t take debt/credit and it’s always 20 bucks.
Great spot with really good parking!

Rolf opened this place a couple of years ago. It's pretty funky and he plays an interesting set of music. You may find a local musician inside playing live as well. He gives really good and relatively inexpensive haircuts.

I go to Cook Street Barbershop to get a haircut from Michael about every 4-5 weeks, and every time it's the same result: great cut and great conversation. The place has a retro vibe that is hard not to like. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Rolf and Michael are absolute legends! They're both very nice to deal with and have a genuine chat with while getting a great haircut! I've been extremely happy with every haircut I've received from Michael (I've been going to him since before he came to this shop) and I reckon I'll only go to him until he retires!

Great barbers and even better experience! From the first time you walk in you are treated like a regular, like your business is important and appreciated. Old school feel, great vibe and and better conversations! You can't go wrong with any of the barbers. Prices and services leave you wanting to pay more and wish it would take longer! Rolf's should become part of your North Park experience, hit Fernwood coffee, grab slice at Standard Pizza and take some time at Rolf's it's worth it!

I started going to Rolf a few years ago when he was over at Cliff's in Vic West. The location was handy for me, and Rolf was the best guy there. I moved out of that neighbourhood, but kept going there despite the distance because because he does such a good job. Was very pleased to find out that he'd moved to Cook St, right by my new place! I've since had cuts by all three guys at the new shop, and I have never been disappointed. I can't understand why people go to some of the more expensive "barber shops" downtown when you can get a great cut with good atmosphere here!
