can't write a review for cox but close enough, I've lived in vq488 for 2 years now and the amount of deficiencies they just font care about is ridiculous, not to mention all the markings and measurements on the wall still, never seen rolled doors in a brand new "high quality building" same with the baseboards such a poor finish and nothing is really put together properly. They had problems with keeping units warm so they sealed each unit completely now there is absolutely no air flow and black mold everywhere thats very good for a family friendly building.

I'm the founder of a charity called HeroWork. We mobilized community to execute "Radical Renovations," enabling charities to better serve vulnerable populations. Farmer Constructions has been a valuable member of our community by helping with our charity non-profit builds for years. For every project they always provide a wide assortment of tools and equipment--table saws, drills, chop saws, scaffolding, and much more. They also bring volunteers, from the executive team to the administrative staff get involved. Kudos and BIG thanks to this long standing Victoria company!

Project came in ahead of time (at my company's request) and on budget. Todd and Sean made a great team, with a good balance of caution and perseverance. Both were a pleasure to work with, communicating issues as they came up, and offering helpful solutions and suggestions where needed. Very happy with end results.

Farmer Construction is one of the longest standing companies on Vancouver Island. We have dealt with them for almost 30 years and continue to do so because they are top quality, finish on time and on budget. We wouldn't go anywhere else for our commercial work.

Lots of great carpenters, young minded individuals who work hard and have great skill. But the way they run that company ( always behind, never on time, go go go or your fired) is out dated. The old ways of commercial construction don't cut it anymore, companies need to start appreciating the people that make them money, this isent the 60's any more and the sooner the people in charge realize that, the better the work flow will be.

Terrible. The job they have done at Orchard House in Victoria, BC has been one of the worst managed jobs I have ever seen. I was originally very happy to hear that Farmer would be doing the work on my building. Now going on 2 months work to change windows in 700 sq ft condo, multiple entries in to my suite with no notice despite promises by the company owner of a 24 notice posting to my door and multiple promises to not kept. This company was sold in the past 18 months and is no longer owned by any of the founders and the results speak for themselves. I have tried to work with owner but he obviously doesn't care about the residents of the building despite his words. Beware if a Farmer construction team comes to your building to work its not the well run well respected company of the past.
