My roommate and I tried to go to a local pub for some late night food and drinks. Unfortunately, the place we tried to go to was closed and so luckily for us we decided to walk into this lovely establishment. Do not judge a book by its cover, this little hole in the wall of an Indian restaurant gave us an amazing experience. The service was first class as our server Bhanu gave us great recommendations for food, was very timely with his service, and made us feel at home. 10/10 experience and will be coming back soon. Visiting Royal Tandoor was one of the best experiences eating out in a long time.
The food was hot, full of flavourful, and timely served.
Our server Bhanu was very attentive and gave us amazing drink and food suggestions.
We will definitely be back many times again.

I ordered a simple daal soup. They do not offer any complimentary stuff no rice or anything. The amount was too small. I am little disappointed paid $9.64 for this.

I ordered chicken Karachi and they gave me butter chicken. It was too late by the time I noticed and I couldn't drive back to return it. The butter chicken was blant and too sweet it tastes as if the sauce was made days ago and frozen.
On top of that they initially only put 1 bread while I paid for 3. However they did give me the remaining 2 breads Upton request while I was at the restaurant.
Would not recommend this place to anyone else nor would I ever eat here again.response / report this review -

My family had been ordering take out here since the pandemic started. The quality of food was on and off. It can really be good on occasions and also bad. But the good usually outweighs the cons. I was extremely disappointed with the food quality today. We ordered bhindi masala, aloo gobi, veggie vindaloo, veggie khorma and butter chicken. It tasted funny, old and over cooked. The okra /ladyfingers was extremely salty and spicy when we told them very, very mild. I wish we dined in and we probably would have received better food and given us fresh food. It looked like leftovers. All the veggies were disintegrating. I kid you not. We usually do not have leftovers but today there were plenty of it. I would think twice in ordering food here again after this unfortunate experience. The quality just went downhill. The price doesn’t justify the flavours. Wasted $$ Check out the photos.

Ordered food last Monday and absolutely fell in love with their vegetable samosas and the red dipping sauce. Also picked up and enjoyed the Malai Kofta and Aloo Gobi specials.
The woman running the store and kitchen at that time was kind and friendly and helped me pick out the Aloo Gobi when I couldn't decide on a meal.
Currently it looks like they're doing some renovations but food orders are still available and various spices still on the shelves.

Good deals at lunch. Prices go up for dinner. I'd give them a higher rating if they'd get rid of the grocery shelves they no longer maintain and put in some tables and chairs. The chef knows what he's doing, but they need to decide to be a restaurant, since they're clearly not a grocery store.

Ordered take-out from Gobind Food Market after a recommendation from a friend. It was fantastic. Everything that we ordered was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.

This used to be a great place to shop for Indian groceries. I was disappointed to discover that they only serve hot food to go now. The owner said they couldn't compete with places like Save-On and Walmart; yet another reason to support local businesses so that this kind of thing doesn't happen.

Great place to grab delicious Indian food quickly.very well priced for what you get. I feel this business is misunderstood in some ways. It's a catering joint, not a restaurant. Great place for take-out when you don't want to take out a bank loan just to have dinner 🖒
