Close to St. Paul's Hospital. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though showing their age a bit. Staff are welcoming. Quick room service.
Large rooms with a kitchen and living room, ours was on the 18th floor and has nice views of downtown, the bridge and the ocean. There is a pool but it seemed cold and uninviting down in the basement with no windows. No hot tub either, which would have been nice after a long day of walking. There is steamrooms in the separate change rooms. The cafe in the lobby was great and had a nice selection of baked goods etc.
Terrible!!!Absolutely terrible experience!!! Booked a room for me and my husband and children, was promised 2 bedroom.. get their and they say their is no more room? Why would you day That??? They try to get us into a one bedroom with one bed and old out are you kidding me? The worst hotel in Vancouver!! Rude to my whole family, especially my children who were tired.. left hotel with no where to go first time in Vancouver!! Disgusting service. Owner should be ashamed!!!!!
Enjoyed a one night stay at the Century Plaza. Along with dinner and breakfast at the C prime restaurant. Which was amazing all was great. The lamb was incredible. My mushroom risotto was fantastic. I ate it so slowly savouring every bit. My gf just about ate the bone from her lamb :p. Room was nice 28th floor. View was nice didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool. But was happy to be there and would stay again.
Staff are amazing. Very kind and thoughtful. Restaurant was good. Scallops were fantastic. Good Happy Hour. Rooms are clean and a bit outdated ( at least ours was). Overall a good stay.

Worst hotel. Terrible rooms and service. Utter chaos. Don't waste your money
We stayed here for one night upon arriving in Vancouver, before setting off up the coast.
Staff are friendly and attentive. Our room was very big, clean and had tea and coffee facilities, fridge and safe.
We ate in the restraunt which was lovely. Food was good quality and reasonably priced, as were drinks.
Located in downtown, convenient location clean and big rooms, suite styled with kitchenettes, friendly staff. Pool is very old nut clean, lovely sauna area. Con is that the water (shower) runs cold after 12am.
The room was tired and dirty had to ask to change rooms. Only plus side was restaurant, reception area and staff lovely. Manager was very apologetic over the condition of the room and was immediately on it when and I asked for an alternative room.
Very comfortable. Was not happy when 2 of the 4 elevators went out of service but manager made an effort to climb the stairs and let guests know a call had gone out to get it fixed and they expected them soon. Returned an hour later and 3 of 4 elevators were up and running, and this was on good Friday I am impressed. Room was incredible. Clean and big! Nice bonus to have a kitchenette with a full size fridge and stove too. I'd come again.
The Century Plaza Hotel has a great view of the city. The rooms are very clean and the amenities are great. Breakfast in my room the next morning we a treat! Only a couple of issues: the water took a while to get hot and the TV is too far from the bed. Other than that, it was great! Very friendly customer service, thank you!
The restaurant serves a nice breakfast, but is sightly pricey. Not a place for everyday breakfast, but a good one for occasional visits. The stay is good mostly because of the pricing and location - bang in the heart of downtown, close to grocery stores, gym etc. Breakfast is complimentary and that's an added bonus.
Comfortable room. Great, helpful staff. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant- it was delicious. I had the corned beef hash and give it two thumbs up. The drawbacks were the long waits on the elevator and the occaisional siren noise from the medical center next door. If you use ear plugs it completely blocks it out, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The location was conveniently located to a lot of fun. I'd stay here again.
The good - the location is amazing, the staff are awesome and it's that rare type of restaurant with actual good food in its building. It's a hotel I've stayed at several times and always been happy with! The bad - since not all floors are renovated sometimes - like my most recent stay - u get stuck in an older room. While the view is nice the bed is old and springy and the shower has almost no water pressure. So make sure you ask for one of the newer rooms - but still a great value in DT Vancouver!
