Attended a professional event: the hotel conference room was very comfortable and clean. Staff catering refreshments were very efficient and professional. Overall a good experience in this venue.
I'm staying here for work so I am able to experience a large aspect of what this place has to offer. It is very clean and well kept, though the elevators are very slow and slightly sketchy. Housekeeping is great, rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The WiFi is quite slow, though. The biggest complaint I have is the quality of the buffets for food - I would rate them approximately a 3 out of 5. All in all I am happy here but I am unsure if I would stay here on my own dime.
Tv remote didn't work. Reported to front desk got another remote that didn't work. Went to front desk and reported it. Still nothing till the next day. Then it was fixed. Don't use the express checkout if you have a small credit card. They charge a security deposit and then charge for the room. Ate my credit card. Was lucky I had cash for gas to go home. Still waiting for the security deposit to be returned.
We were at a wedding. And stayed overnight. Wedding was great. Was surprised the ran out of vodka and wine. Food was awesome. Room was nice clean. We asked for a play pen. Got it in less than 10 minutes. All around it was a great evening and night.
I am only writing my review for my experience in staying at the hotel overnight. I will not comment on the wedding I attended there as it's a separate issue involving different people. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. They checked us in immediately and even allowed an early check-in as the wedding was scheduled for the same time as their normal check-in. We received a beautiful upgrade of a King Bed. The room was so nice a quiet and I loved the bed. Unfortunately, we didn't get to spend much time in the room as we left the wedding at 3:30 am.
Attended a wedding here and the room provided was very nice. The reception was held in an adjacent room and was also quite nice. Ample parking and easy access to the lot. Clean hotel with attentive staff.
Rooms were very clean, had a good view from the 3rd floor. Housekeeping was very attentive, always had my bed made and room done when I came back. Noise levels from other rooms were practically non-existent and the bathrooms are large with hot water that never runs out. Basically what you'd expect from something in the range of 110-150$ hotel. I liked staying here.
A pleasure as always, Best Western is my go to hotel everywhere I travel, always exceptional service and perks for elite reward members. Have had very minimal and minor issues but employees are always friendly and helpful and make me feel welcome, going above and beyond and often greeting me by name. Highly recommend!
Was a good stay. Clean and well maintained. Very close to airport, shopping and restaurants. Did not take advantage of their breakfast offer as the seminar I was attending had everything catered by the hotel. All was tasty and presented well.
Good for a quick business trip, hotel is very close to airport, has a good restaurant in site do you don't have to go far. Check in was fast and the front desk was friendly. I find Best Western can be hit or miss this was definitely one of the better ones
There have been multiple issues I have had at this hotel over the span of my 7 weeks here.
#1 - The steam room, my first week here I asked when it would be fixed, I hardly believe it takes 7+ weeks to fix a steam room.
#2 - The gym. You have guests literally staying here for 2 months at a time, and that's the extent of what you can do for a gym? Sad, but thank god there is one!
#3 - and the largest of the 3 - This hotel's RIDICULOUS rules and lack of explanation for them. Boy oh boy, where to begin on this one
Okay so since my arrival here, we have been banned from:
-getting to-go containers
-bringing food upstairs to our rooms
-eating in the bar
-eating after 8 pm
-locking our bedroom doors? (happened to a friend)
-can't use the "Do Not Disturb" signs? (happened to a friend)
The concern I have with this, is that these rules are absolutely ridiculous and I've never had to deal with anything so absurd while staying in a hotel, and because you don't inform or explain anything to your guests or employees. So when I ask "hey why can't I lock my door?" Not even the cleaning maids can explain it. That is MY room and if I don't want to be disturbed, I have a right to that sign.
As usual, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure I'm comfortable and happy and my needs are met. I can't say enough about the best western hotels. When the staff of a hotel even uses their own vehicles to help boost your van (gah!!) you can only say that they went out of their way to ensure you had a great stay and ALL of your needs were met. So grateful!! The rewards you receive from BW are what started our loyal stays, but it's the service that keeps us returning.
