The Old Pancake House is a staple in Winnipeg. Always friendly service and a massive menu. The facilities for banquets and socials are spacious and well kept. There is also a spa on site. There is plenty of parking in the parking garage attached to the facility (which is free if you are staying at the hotel or eating at the restaurant). The location is tough to get to of travelling on Postage. Aside from this, I recommend the facility and restaurant.

Hotel itself was very clean and tidy. Room was spotless and the decor roomy, comfortable and well laid out. The cleaning staff was very nice , friendly and helpful. The only negative aspect of my stay would be the male night reception guy. Found him to be rude and condescending. All the other staff were great.

Went there for a birthday brunch buffet. Food was really good. The place was nice and clean heading into the reception. Saw the pool and spa area and it looked great. Interested in checking those out in the future.

It's a very nice hotel! Great, very homey yet beautiful rooms, delicious restaurant, and oh my gosh I love the pool! I would give this hotel 5 stars, except that I was not a fan of the nail salon. They claim to be professional but obviously aren't. I found them a bit rude and they couldn't even do a simple design. Not impressed with the nail salon but everything else was perfect!

Went to the dental office located here. Wonderful signage made it easy to find the correct floor and room number. Entrance and hallways were well maintained. Nice big loop for drop-off and pick up, didn't appear to have valet service. Actual parking is a bit of a walk down the street

newly renovated rooms. Pool with water slide. Urban Oasis Mineral Spa on the lower level with great treatments! Mineral Pool, steam room and hot tub. Great location being close to airport and downtown. Also right across from Polo Park Mall. A lot of rooms for meetings and weddings

I certainly can't give this hotel an adequate rating for the price they charge. Our bathroom door wouldn't close because it was hung crooked and they couldn't move us to another room. We woke up sore as the beds were not comfortable.

I will say however that the pool area is fantastic and the overall style and feel of the rooms are very nice. The fireplace on the wall is a nice touch.

Perhaps some regular maintenance checks of the rooms would be a good idea to keep a higher standard. I couldn't recommend this hotel unless you get a fantastic rate. Certainly nothing worth over $125 for a night.

Beautiful hotel with and awesome poop area. The water is nice and warm and there is a slide. Also the staff are accommodating and friendly. They helped us with all our requests and needs. There is also a nice spacious lobby and cool rooms with fire places.

Two months later, my guests still rave about the great food at the Clarion Hotel.

In June 2017, I organized two separate events at the Clarion Hotel--one for work, and the other my wedding--both for just under 100 people.

The Customer Service I received was exceptional, and even my highest expectations were exceeded.

The food (the Manitoba Buffet) was easily the best buffet food we'd ever had at any weddings/events/conferences, and our guests still talk about how great the food was to this day in regular conversation.

Richard went above and beyond on a regular basis for my events, and I had complete trust that he would ensure everything was done right. He made me feel like I was the only event / bride who existed, and that my events were his top priority as well. I cannot speak highly enough about his professionalism and expertise.

The Clarion hotel rooms are exquisite, modern, spacious, and very clean.

The technicians at the spa, as well as the ambiance in the spa, were exceptional, and they took good care of me the day before my wedding day.

If I could give the Clarion's event services, hotel rooms, and spa services 6 out of 5 stars, I would.

The room that we stayed in was great, and the venue for our staff event was wonderful. The washrooms were clean and private. The staff was friendly and considerate. And the atmosohere of the building is welcoming.

The hotel room suite was beautifullots of room. If you want to order a cot be prepared to pay 20 dollars. And if you want to rent a movieits 20 dollars. The pancake house room service was quick and friendly..and the front desk was friendly and informative.

We went to the pancake House in the hotel. We were seated at a booth by someone who I think might have been the manager but the booth was kind of dirty. You could see crumbs all over the seats, but he didn't seem to notice. Our server was very efficient and followed my specifications for my meal exactly which I appreciated. The food was exceptional that day. In the past I have ordered the giant Apple pancake and this was one of the better versions. Parking is easy because there is free parking for hotel guests and restaurant guests in the giant parkade next door.

I've only been here 30 minutes and have already decided I won't be back.

Although it's very clean and up-to-date, my King room is clearly a double Queen room with a single Queen. I paid for a King bed and I'm getting a Queen. I called the front desk and they said it's a "standard King." Check my photosit clearly is not. The TV is also too small for this room and the desk is not a desk. Rather a square table.

I come to Winnipeg regularly on business and won't be back to this hotel again. It's smoke and mirrors with this place.

My son and I were needing a hotel that was being covered by RCMP for an emergency medical trip out of the north. I am required to book a hotel room at the government rate due to the fact that it is the government paying for the room. I decided to stay at the Clarion as they offered the amenities that I required for my trip. They refused to give me a room at the government rate even with proper documentation showing that the government would be paying for the room unless my husband was with me as he is the RCMP Member. I had been warned not to stay there as their customer service is disgustingly horrible, yet I figured I'd make up my own mind. Boy was I wrong!!!! I travel to Winnipeg a lot and would have liked to start staying at the Clarion, but now I will never give them my money, I'd rather sleep in my truck!
