Attended Aaltos restaurant for dinner buffet. Mixed reviews on the food. Some was good others tasted off. Salad bar was good. Desserts were fine.

I did not stay at the hotel, I only go through it to get to my campus. From what I have seen and heard it seems like a good hotel.

Security was rude, condescending, and passive aggressive to me when I waited in their completely empty lobby seating with my mobility aid for a friend who worked there. As a disabled person, it is helpful and sometimes necessary to have a seat when I need it and as close as possible to where I need to be. I fully understand that those seats are reserved for guests of the hotel, but when both the lobby and seating area are empty, I don't think it is unreasonable to allow a disabled person to have a seat for a few minutes.

The Ukranian buffet was excellent, good selection of desserts and the salad bar was fresh. They didn't boil the cabbage enough for the cabbage rolls, but that's a common mistake. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, prices were very reasonable.

This was our second time staying at this location, due to the convenience of it being attached to the hospital. The rooms are very clean and well laid out. The hotel itself is spotless and very quiet, which is nice when you are recovering. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The price is a little high, but given the location it's worth it.

Clean, Starbucks is open 24/7 and a good place to meet a patient of the HSC if you don't want to be in a hospital room.

Very nice, very clean hotel. Incredibly convenient if you have anything going on at HSC or Childrens Hospital. Only downfall is there is no pool.

Rooms were clean, looked new and well equipped. Very convenient location for any hospital-related business. Free shuttle to and from airport was nice. Great value!

When my friend visited Winnipeg, he stayed in this hotel. Everything was good. Room was very clean and had everything what guests need. Internet speed was very nice. However, on the 1st floor, you can experience your phone becomes just plastic box. I usually visit Starbucks on the lobby, and I never find any signal on my phone. Also, in Starbucks, the Internet speed is toooooooooooooooo slooooooooooow! If you worry about security and safety, you don't need to worry. Many police officers are at Starbucks 24/7. They can control all situations while they are drinking coffee. Generally speaking, it is the best hotel in this city itself.
GOOD: Room, Facilities, Staffs, Connectivity, Public Transportation
BAD: Internet speed and phone signal on the 1st floor.response / report this review
