Stayed at Jakarta room. Stunning. Had such an amazing time. Great people. Great food and beauty price.

My first time here. We stayed in the Jakarta suite (the penthouse). Other than a few maintenance things in the bathroom and a lightbulb out everything was wonderful. Shelly and Dano were very friendly and helpful. The steam shower and waterfall Jacuzzi were so relaxing.
Our anniversary meal was fabulous and there are so many things to do within walking distance.
I had a great time. I look forward to returning again soon.response / report this review -

My boyfriend surprised me with the best weekend for our 5 year anniversary. We had a beautiful weekend. It felt like a mini vacation away in the beautiful Caribbean room. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed an outdoor dinner on the balcony and a candle lit Jacuzzi and a luxurious steam shower. I need to come up with more special occasions so we can try every room. Thank you Shelly and Lowel - this place is amazing.

I've stayed there. I was married there. I even did some work there. Then, I stayed there again! The absolute best place to forget your in Winnipeg. So comfy, so relaxing, so fun, so happy. A must try place if you've never been! Great staff! Makes the whole experience even better. I hope me and the wife will return soon! Keep up the good work Lowell! Just love it.

I'm currently staying in India with my good friend whom I've not seen in some years. I must say the experience in definitely one of a kind. The room is amazing, all of the staff are super friendly, Shelly is my favorite person in life! She especially, has made our stay very accommodating and so comfortable. I definitely want to come back! I can't wait in fact!

We stayed in the Egyptian suite on the second floor. Service from staff was spectacular and inviting. Room was clean and we were given early check in. We absolutely loved the decor, spa options and food. Few minor complaints for staying on the second floor. The WiFi didn't work in room. The stereo wouldn't play the radio if you stood in areas of the room including in the jet tub without distortion and intruption of static. Not a major issue but it was definitely entertaining at first, then quickly became annoying because we had a neighboring suite blasting rap music from 11pm till 4am shaking our walls and we wanted to try to drowne out their music and vibrations. We really didn't expected wifi to not be an issue either so no YouTube or streaming options besides radio. Our second major complaint was getting a snow route parking ticket as you can't park on street during the winter season. We just asked if we could park outside were told yes until meters were in effect Monday morning. We didn't really question it or think about snow bans, trusted we were fine where we parked and hurried to get to our one night romantic getaway. This error cost us an additional $100 dollars. Despite these issues we plan to stay at the hotel again and will most likely stay in the same room. Absolutely stunning. We just suggest you bring a CD or two or use their TV music.

My fiance and I stayed at Mariaggi's after receiving a coupon in a wedding Social prize basket, and we had the most wonderful time! I was actually sad to leave the next morning. We stayed in the Japan room, and the care to the details the owner and staff obviously put into the decorating is incredible. Such a gorgeous room! The two person jetted hot tub/bath was so fun! They supply the bubble bath, a couple pumps of it, turn the jets on, and so many bubbles! Our room also had a microwave, two person dining table, and mini fridge, complete with extra tealights! The atmosphere of the room and hotel is so relaxed and cozy.
The hotel owner, Lowell, is one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of meeting in a long while. He was patient and answered each and every question we had. He explained the features of the room with us and actually gave us a rundown on the history of the hotel.
I would also not hesitate to recommend the dinner that they offer. So yummy and the portion size was incredible. We ordered the dinner when we checked in, and Lowell delivered it to our room on a wheeled cart.

I have never seen anything like the rooms at this hotel. They are absolutely stunning. The price tag may be a little more than most hotels but with a pool table, sauna and waterfall hotub in your room it is a bargain!

Awesome place! They hosted my mom's wedding in the penthouse, and I stayed in the Japan room overnight. It's obvious that there is so much time and detail put into the suites, each one has it's own unique feel. It's a refreshing switch from hotels where all the rooms are the same. I definitely recommend it.

first booked the smaller Rome room with the romance package, found out that we couldn't enjoy the dinner, phoned and told Lowell that we couldn't make it but we'll still pay. he offered early check in and late check out free of charge, as well as upgrading our room to the Caribbean room with the same price as the much smaller hotel room. fantastic customer service, lovely rooms, and wonderful area. highly recommend, the price may be high, but the service and rooms make up for it and leap beyond expectations. 10/10
